The Flash: 80 Years of the Fastest Man Alive (80 Years of the Flash) Hardcover – 12 Nov. 2019

Got this as a gift and it came in really good condition and it's massive!! Has so much content and the quality is really good so it's going to last a while :)

This is in the same format, but not quite as good as, the 80 Years of Action Comics & Detective Comics books.Collects a lot of Flash comics from the past 8 decades but unfortunately only a handful of them are outstanding. The Silver Age stuff is fun as is the Geoff Johns Captain Cold spotlight issue but the the rest is solid but unspectacular. Maybe there just are not that many outstanding one-and-done Flash comics? Cetainly it's hard to believe that the two most recent issues included (a short 2017 Xmas tale by Joshua Williamson and a short 2019 Gail Simone story from one of the Flash Walmart-exclusive comics) represent the very best that the Scarlet Speedster has to offer.

My son is a bit obsessed with The Flash, so this compendium of the first appearances of each Flash was a delight for him.Lovely quality, great selection of adventures.
