Is this as good as a strimmer for cutting lawn edges thanks

To tell you the truth I have only tried it out a couple of times on weeds at the edge of the garden and outside the front where weeds have grown by the wall. The weather hasn't been that good to do more yet! However although it doesn't have very thick cutting cord it appears okay. The battery once charged certainty keeps its power.

Is this any good for trimming a Rose bush

It will depend on the rose bush. Thinner stems it will cut with no problem and be very effective but thicker ones it will not. As a rough guess I would think that it would only cut branches up to maybe 3-5 mm in thickness.

Does this come with aUK plug

It is rechargeable via a separate power pack that plugs into a13 amp mains socket.allow 4 hours but usually doesn't take that long.
