Not as complete
As others in series. The last chapters especially where almost like a afterthought.Did not like how author is trending all the cave men mates to react similiar. I especially disliked how he and his tribe interacted. There is 100% no way a tribe surrounded by bigs would not be training, and keeping up on defenses. There will always be people that do the right thing, especially when they see others not.Lastly the tribe chief and leadersAre left in limbo because it feels like even though he says he cares about kids, his words and action showed him only caring for the life givers. Because if he had cared for kids, he could have convinced, trained others to take responsibility for different roles.

Fun and interesting
Another great story for this series. Each one is so different in tribe situations but still have central theme of waiting for The Woman. Love how author continues to bring in new creatures to fight. Love how author continues to being the whole gang together, particularly, when Sophia is due to have a baby. Interesting twist where the new caveman has cast out a whole tribe. It is a very sad tribe indeed. Love that author let you know what happened to the aliens that had dropped this group of women off at this world. I definitely didn’t see that coming. Also loved the continuing clues of what is going on at Brune. Story kept my attention from beginning to end.

Love the series - not a fan of the illogical components running thru the series - this one not as happy an ending
I do love this series - the world build, the world 'reveal' & the capabilities the heroes & heroines develop as the series grows. A couple of illogical items that aggravate - a) the persistent notion the girls have of 'going back' to Earth - even the ones with alien husbands. The timeframe is current world - not a future world where extraterrestrials are commonly accepted. Do the girls really think they & their alien husbands & children wouldn't be grabbed by the government, scientists or 'collectors' ? b) the notion that the evil Plood who kidnapped them in the first place (killing one to punish the group) might come back with the intent to return them to Earth - why would the Plood do that?Even if the author has structured her series storyline to send them all home - its so impractical that I find myself feeling aggravated when reading passages that reference those dreams.Otherwise, I find the stories interesting with action, sex, internal growth, some relationship development and interesting problem-solving situations that allow strong images to develop in my mind's eye about their day to day world. This one in the series had a less satisfactory ending than the earlier 3 for me. The first 2 guys were also Chiefs / Chief-select - this guy is not joining the girls' tribe - thus building it up & making it stronger - nor is he inviting the others to join his tribe. He & Aurora are moving away. This ending doesn't mesh with what I thought they were building - a tribe composed of the best of each 'ethnic' group on the planet. Becoming a governing or respected group that former/other tribe members would seek to join, learn from, seek alliances & improve their own lives by sharing knowledge etc. (huh - maybe I'm the impractical one here).

Whoa what happened here....
Books 1-3 of this series are solid 4 star reads for me, cute and and unique with sweet possessive cave dudes..then this book just takes a wrong turn!Mild spoilers ahead..First off, was this even edited? There are so many errors, it's distracting.Next...both characters are highly unlikable.Aurora is a jabbering oddity..she's Italian, and that's used like...an excuse as to why she talks so much? Ok stereotypes. But she's just weird. Kind of aggressive and there's very little emotion from her until she suddenly loves her caveman. There was a serious lack of building chemistry and it's like we just skim the surface of.both characters.Caveguy, he only has maybe 25% of the chapters and I really felt the loss of his thought process. Without it he came across cold and bland.I was annoyed that A tells him she loves him and he just smiles, he's a grade A jerk to her.multiple times...I dunno, this one just didn't work!Hoping next one gets back on track otherwise I'll be scrapping this series.

A grand adventure on the dinosaur planet!
We’re back to Xren, the dinosaur planet with our linguistic students and those hunky cavemen! Aurora is out with Caroline hunting for not-sheep to get a ultra soft and warm wooly pelt as a gift for Sophia’s soon-to-be-born baby. Shooting her arrow without a clear view, Aurora clearly (from the yell) shot a caveman instead. What a way to introduce yourself to a new guy! When guilt drives her to find him to make amends, she soon finds herself hauled away to an island hideaway. I love Aurora! She’s gotten much braver in the 9 months they’ve been on the planet. She has some weapons that she can use well. She’s smart and creative, making a number of useful tools and teaches her ‘caveman’ many new things. Trak’zor has been preparing for The Woman for a long time and has an elaborate shelter and food supply ready for her arrival. He’s really awesome with all he has done. Yes, he’s a bit full of himself, but he has the most delicious sense of humor! It catches Aurora off guard frequently. Aurora quickly falls for him, and he seems to reciprocate. This is a must read, as the adventures are gasp-worthy, the romance is hot, and Trak’zor gets the surprise of his life when Aurora decides he’s got his priorities messed up. Enjoy!

Nice addition to the series (3.5 stars)
The book was ok, managed to keep me interested to finish it, however, it's not the best of the series. The hero is a bit conceited and full of himself (sometimes he had me rolling my eyes at him, like "really, dude? LOOOL"), the heroine was ok but the fact that she'd lusted for him too easily (while struggling internally not to) and sometimes she sounded a bit immature, also, I don't know how to explain but I've missed a deeper connection between them during the story, when he got the rope again, after all they'd lived together...it HURT and I disliked him fiercely (but in the end, they had adorable moments, so it's kinda redeemed, kinda).I confess I was expecting more because lately this is one of the series I look forward the most.nevertheless, I'm excited to read Caroline's story in the next book, since she looks like a sweet and lovely woman, I hope her hero will be likable as well.

Aurora and Trak'zor
Wow! This series just keep getting better and better. The plot on the Caveman alien's pride was amazing, totally loved that Trak'zor was not a castout but he was the one that cast out his whole tribe for not been worthy! Instead of following the bas examples around him, he went out and made a life for himself and proper for the "Woman". And when she came he was blindsided not by her divine presence but by the two arrows she attacked him with. kkkk. Aurora was simply trying to hunt a not sheep for her tribe. The unmistakable roar of pain and fury told her she had fail on her goal and shot a caveman instead. Entertaining plot, packed with action, adventure, danger, lol moments and romance. Highly recommended
