Best hair paste ever!!! Little bit goes a long way

EDIT: I posted this review in MAY 2022, it's SEPT 2023, and I am just reordering. I don't use EVERY day BUT often. My hair is salt and pepper and unless you add water and rub your hands together a lot when you have product on them, the product is a blue/green color and you don't want that color in clumps in your hair! WORKS GREAT and LASTS A LONG TIME, with a tiny bit and adding to wet hands then really spreading through hair. And not much works on my fine, thin hair, but this does!_______________________________________________I was looking for something to add some thickness and texture. I like to lightly spike some areas.I washed and lightly dried hair, took the top off and just took A TINY bit that inside lid (no seal) and put on fingers and put bits throughout my hair.I like the GREAT shine and texture, adds some thickness.LOVE the scent. It SMELLS like coconut, pineapple, very summery, beachy.BEST TIP: START with less than you think you will need, you can always add more! AND if you add a TINY bit of water before you dip your fingers into the taffy textured paste, then rub together and gently and sparingly spread around your hair, then kind of fluff, I think works BRILLIANTLY for a pixie cut!

Very good hair product for volume in my hair.

I bought this from one of the Amazon marketplace sellers, and the formula hasn't changed. It has the consistency of honey, just like the ones they use and sell at Lady Jane's. The Manipulator is more waxy and leaves your hair slightly shinier than the Manipulator Matte (which is almost like a hard wax than honey). I found the Manipulator kept my hair in shape for an entire day, but the hair itself was still pliable just a bit waxy. I could also smell the wax at the end of the day and it required more shampoo to remove than normal.Overall: 4/5 stars, does the job of holding my hair in place but keeping it looking alive and not crunchy. Hard to remove at the end of the day.

I love this stuff! It shapes my shaggy layers in piecy chunks perfectly, smells great and lasts all day. I do not use hairspray with this. I use about a nickel size, rub it across hands and then piece hair and fluff. Has great hold.

I've used this stuff for a while now. What I like abou it is that it's easy to use, takes a small amount, washes off easily and isn't too goopy on my hands or hair. What I don't like about it is the misleading packaging that is clearly designed to make you think you're getting more than you are. If you look at the image it looks like a bottom tier is filled with the product but that is just colored plastic. In other words, "deceptive advertising". The 2nd thing I don't like abou it is that the price increases almost every time I go to buy it at local hair shops. It's not worth $16 and is now $20 at most places. That's what prompted me to look on Amazon to see if I could buy it for less, which I did at about half the price! I bought two and this may be the last time I buy it. One jar was deifinitely some old product as it was dried out a lot compared to the jars I've purchased previously. If you buy this stuff, I think you're taking a risk that it will be too old of stuff to live up to it's "new" standard, but then it was relatively inexpensive on Amazon so maybe the risk isn't too bad.
