Q: If you just recently received this item, what are the currently listed ingredients?

My box says "original formula" on it. Active ingredients listed are as follows: Mineral Oil (10.8%), Petrolatum (32.8%). Other ingredients are: Acacia gum, Acidified calcium sulfate, Barley malt syrup, Caramel, Glycerin, Potassium sorbate, Sodium benzoate, Thiamine HCl, Water. Hope that helps.

Q: Can i mix this with their food? I have a street cat around my work and when i feed her she never let me touch. She throw up hairball everyday.

It's supposed to be given on an empty stomach. Giving with food decreases the effectiveness of the med and also decreases the absorption of nutrients in the food. Try putting some in the bowl ( about an inch), she may like the taste. My cats love it and will eat it immediately. Feed food 30 min later.

Q: Does this arrive safety sealed and tamper proof?

it arrives inside a box, which would reveal if it was opened or not and the tube itself has the screw-lid. When you open it, you could see if the gel is right up to the top and "flat". I would say that if it WERE tampered with you;d notice something was awry.

Q: What is the consistency? I bought another brand and it was like syrup. Thanks

It is pretty thick, much thicker than syrup. It you have it out of the tube on your finger or a plate it will turn into a syrupy consistency. My fussy cat eats this one out of the tube so THAT is convenient lol!
