Works great... for 3 days
I ironed them on following the directions word for word. They started to peel after the third day of wearing the item. You pretty much have to sew them on, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of buying these...

Works for me on wool Pendleton shirt with worn out ...
Works for me on wool Pendleton shirt with worn out sleeves at elbows. Extends life of shirt for around-the-house uset. The patches will likely outlive the rest of the shirt.

Overpriced
These iron-on patches are overpriced, and marginally effective. After only two washings they're coming off, and I don't expect they will last much longer. I have since found similar iron-on patches at a fraction of the cost.

These work great!
My sons tend to abuse the knees on their jeans, and so we need to keep patches around the house to keep them in their jeans. These work really well. I tend to cut them into thirds (as that size works well for the holes we seem to get around here), and round the corners like the description says you should if you cut these down. I also apply these to the inside of the jeans instead of the outside, and we have never yet had any issues with them coming off or having any other wear issues. These have allowed my sons to be able to wear their jeans until they outgrow them, and even made it so that most of the pairs can be passed on to the younger guys!

Are they great? No way
These were ok. They did what I needed them to do, which was to hold together the pocket of some jeans a little longer. Are they great? No way, but they'll do in a pinch. They wore out quickly, but I gained a little more life out of my jeans so that I had time to wait for a good sale to buy some new ones.

Make sure you iron them on very well
Make sure you really iron the patches on. Like double the time. Fell off after one wash.
