Excellent value for the money
I purchased 6 bulbs for my kitchen lighting. I was using regular bulbs, but the electrician told me this is what I needed. At first I whined because3 of the price. It costed me at least $90. It is now 5 years later and only 1 bulb has blown or isn't working properly. I am not sure because for some reason one light goes in and out but hasn't blown completely for some time now. I am ready to purchase another one, ,but I remember that it didn't cost as much as it does now, I am more than happy to purchase it anyway.

Nice light, but flickers when dimmed
I have been happy with other Kobi bulbs I've used, and the color and light quality on this is great. However, it does not seem to dim very well - I get a lot of flickering, even with it dimmed around 50%. I'm giving it 3 rather than 2 stars however, because it may be due to the dimmer I'm using - I'm using an X10 lamp module to control it, and I recognize these are not necessarily the best LED dimmers. So it's possible the flickering is due to the choice of dimmer. However, like most standard dimmers, it's triac based, so I think this is still a valid criticism.

Not silent
I bought the 5000K (daylight) version of this bulb. The color is spot on. The size of the bulb is a 100% match to the incandescent R20 that I had. This is not true with other R20 LEDs from other manufacturers. Problem with the bulb that I received is that it made a hum when powered on. I know many bulbs hum when dimmed, which in my opinion is unsatisfactory for any LED bulb, but this one hummed when at 100% power. I could have gotten a bad one, but I chose to return and go with another manufacturer.

Didn't even last a year...
Used these bulbs off and on in our basement. They didn't even last a year. Don't recommend them.

The light these give off is amazing in both color and brightness and we are saving ...
Replaced two 50 watt incadescent bulbs in the lights over our countertop cooktop. The light these give off is amazing in both color and brightness and we are saving on electricity.

nice and bright. closest r-20 to 3500K I could find.
works great. Not overdriven so stays cool. a little too long for my application, but thats my fault. check dimensions before buying. Slight color variations between bulbs.
