I ordered these 100% cotton embroidered white pillow shams because they looked like they would be not only soft, but much thicker on the front side than standard shams which only provide one layer of thin sheeting. The real thing lived up to my hopes! The embroidered material on the front was thick. The embroidered pattern was centered and identical on each sham. These shams have a nice two-inch flat border around the pillow enclosure area. The back envelope closure is a very soft, thin sheet material, almost like thin linen or gauze, but seems sturdy enough. My old floppy pillows that have been washed many times were easy to insert, even with zippered pillow protectors on them, but these shams are generously sized and could easily accomodate a denser, much fluffier pillow. I like to read at bedtime so these pillow shams give me a way to have two-pillow support with style. I highly recommend.

Just received the pillow shams and they were exactly what I was hoping for. Beautiful soft quilted material, sewn very nicely and a very bright white. I am very pleased with my purchase

The front panel of the matelasse sham is great -- the design wasn't centered as on the photo but I like it better. The back is a lightweight white gauze with two ties, which I wasn't expecting but I'm happy with these overall, and think they were a bargain.

Love love the vibrant colors in the pillow shams! They “pop” on my bed! I wish they also came in pillow cases as well!! Good quality and weight to them too!🙌🏽🙌🏽Two high fives!

One word of advice, I ordered this for an additional set of pillowcases. My main order of a Comforter and two king shams came very poorly stitched. Maybe I just got a bad order but certainly not happy with my main order.

Bought paisley standard sham set abt year ago and loved them.One got stained and just repurchased the set for new ones, in white.NOT THE SAME. 1. Pattern is completely off. Looks ridiculous having the pillows next to each other on the bed.It’s like they just ran the material through the machine and ended it WHEREVER.2. These have the flange around each sham, previous ones did not, Which is one reason why I liked them.The photo does show a flange.3. The original shams had the little ties on the back. These new ones do not. Which is not too big a deal.But, the other 2 issues ARE. Company not dependable on this product.Can’t send back because I tossed the packaging...lesson to be learned by me.
