Gorgeous color, great suede texture, rich looking pointy toe ballet flat.
First, the look: these are GORGEOUS - I got the burgundy color which is more of a purple tinged burgundy than it appears on my computer monitor - color looks MUCH RICHER in person. I disagree with another review I saw which said the toe looks very long - in my opinion it looks just like a pointy toe ballet flat, and I wear a size 10 so I'm always conscious of how large shoes can look, especially flats with pointed toes. Actually, it looks slightly LESS long than my Sam Edelman Reyanne's, so if you were hesitating about buying these because of the long-looking toe, skip the hesitation and order them to make your own decision.Regarding fit and comfort: as many people do, I have one foot larger than the other. So I expect two different fits from my shoes, and these fit perfectly if you take that into account. The right shoe - comfortable immediately, could be worn all day. The left shoe - onto the shoe stretcher (all my ballet flats have the left shoe go onto a shoe stretcher before I can wear them comfortably so this is not a big deal). This shoe is cut higher on the sides than some others I have, and will provide a bit more support because of that. It might even stay on my foot without a tendency to flap around as ballet shoes do sometimes.Quality - the exterior suede is Frye quality - deep, richly colored suede, not the flatter nu-buck-ish look. They look rich. I'm not sure the insides are leather and, if they are, they're thinner than they could be. The padding on the bottom of the foot bed is fine, it's the sock liner that's thin. I won't know how it lasts till I've worn them for a while, and it's just too hot to do that for a while. All in all, these are a keeper because I expect they'll grow to be really comfy, the color is super, and the price I got them for cannot be beat.

I've always had good luck with my Frye boots
I've always had good luck with my Frye boots, so I thought I would give the flats a try. Big MISTAKE!!! Maybe if you size up a size or two they'd work, but the back digs so badly into my heel that after an hour I had marks and had to apply band aids to both ankles. Mind you, I work in an office and had only walked to and from the parking lot by the time my heels were destroyed by these shoes. When I tried them on and wore them around the house they were fine, but once I left the safety of my home, all hell broke loose. They are super cute to look at, but . I would send these back if I hadn't worn them out :(

Order up .5size and use baby powder
I'm a true size 7 and I sized up to 7.5 in this shoe as I do normally with Frye and it worked perfectly, the shoes fit very well. I've been wearing them for a few days at work and I've noticed that the inside liner is not breathable so your foot sweats and as it does it makes noise when you walk. I recommend baby powder to help with this. They are very attractive shoes, not too long of a point and very easy and comfortable to walk in. I have noticed a bit of blistering around the side of the balls of my feet, where the top/side of the shoe meets my foot before the toes, I put on a bandaid and that is helping, I guess it may take a few days to break them in. They show a tiny bit of toe cleavage which is really cute. I like them a lot, but I'm not sure I think they're worth as much as they cost without being on sale...

I ordered 0.5 size up (red) and it was a mistake, they are too big. Please read the whole review.
I usually wear size 7, but after reading the reviews I decided to go half a size up. There is almost 1 centimeter empty space at the back of my ankle. I should have bought 6.5 ...but I think I can remake them to fit. I ordered red color, which is really nice. I have the same style (sienna) but grey-brown color which are 7.5 and fit just right, so I think it depends on the year/collection these colors were a part from, so I think people should specify which color they bought when writing a review.

Tight toe box–Smoke is more of a Brown Color
I generally really like Frye shoes and boots, but sadly had to return these. The toe box is incredibly tight and the back of the shoe digs into the top of the heel. That may be a wear-in issue, but the toe box sadly is not. The main reason to return is that the “Smoke” color is definitely more of a brown. I read the reviews and saw a few who said this but others did not. There is most definitely a brown tint that would not work if you were pairing with an outfit for a black or grey shoe.

These shoes are great quality and it shows- they look expensive and the leather looks great. I got a few blisters breaking them in but it was worth it- wearing slips on your feet will help with that. For some reason, when I put the heel liners in them they dont stick very long- which i guess speaks well for the quality of the leather. They still run the heels a little but I love them so much I don't even care. I love the brown- much more versatile than black for day time. Sleek.

Fit Well For A Typical Size 8 EEE! Nice Surprise.
My true shoe size is 8EEE. If I have to, I will purchase 8.5 M and stretch them before wearing. The color of this nicely pointed flat is a deep navy which is perfect for work. The quality of the shoe matches it's price. I was concerned that the sole was not leather because it is not stamped to indicate it is leather. After wearing the shoe and seeing the sole it does appear to be leather with the rubber insert. In terms of width, I did not need to use my shoe stretcher before wearing. That's rare for me. The length is such that my heel slips slightly. I keep a stock of heel pads for such situations. Once I insert them I'm confident the shoe will fit perfectly. I would buy this shoe again.

Uncomfortable fit
These shoes are probably one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought. The color and style are very nice. I got the shoes for a great price; sadly I had to return them because of the fit. I have normal to narrow feet. I bought the 8 regular. The shoe size was right but the front part was very snug.
