Q: Can I use each stand separately with the tbar?

You can use each stand seperately, however there are smaller stands designed for that purpose

Q: What size case would this fit into? would it fit in the on-stage lsb-6500?

It is two 5 foot sections. That and the stands take a lot of space. I have'nt seen a case tat big in a while. This stuff is road worthy and almost roadie proof! Probably don't need a case.

Q: Is there a metal sleeve that goes between the 2 trusses for support like other trusses? I only see a small plastic piece to pinch them together.

You could put the another light bar(thing in the middle) and make it 3 pieces. Instead of 2 you could put 3. Haven't tried it but I've heard of people doing it. Best of luck-Mark

You can use the single 5 ft section. However, that leaves only about 2 1/2-3 ft between the tripods.
