It's hard to believe this lock doesn't get the highest possible security rating. It's heavy and thick and the type of locking mechanism means that even when cut through, the pieces will stay locked in place, meaning it has to be cut through a second time before a bike can be stolen. Plus, when attaching it to a bike frame, everything is infinitely adjustable: the clip on the lock itself can be rotated through 360° and the bracket which attaches to the bike has a fabric strap which can wrap tightly round even awkwardly shaped frame bars (like the D-shaped aerodynamic ones). The bracket's receptor clip for the lock is also rotatable through 360°, so the bracket and lock can be fitted just about anywhere on the bike frame that's safe, without taking up the space needed for a water bottle. A quality product, highly recommended.

This lock can be hoisted - basically in any position to any reasonable mounting spot. I have it hooked to my electric scooter. I love how fast I can remove the lock from its holder and lock up - and vice versa

Great product - high quality and works well. Best entry level Kryptonite lock on the market that even comes with an attachment to hold your lock while you’re biking. Keys are high quality and doesn’t get stuck or bend easily. Lock holder comes with a rubber strap so it doesn’t scratch your frame. Option to register for kryptonite’s insurance program where if your bike is stolen they’ll refund you up to $2000 (if I’m not mistaken). And they’ll also send you free keys for free as long as you register them. Awesome company, awesome product, would buy 10 if I had 10 bikes.After using for about 2 weeks, commuting in NYC, the only thing I would recommend is tightening and adjusting the holder every week or so just so the lock doesn’t accidentally get in your way while riding.

Easy to use and nice small size. So far, my bike didn't get stolen! But couldn't figure out how to install the holder on my bike.

My husband bought a fancy bike and for approximately 6.5 months he decided to “take his chances” with seeing if it would get stolen. It didn’t. I have no idea how, but said bike didn’t budge from the bike rack at his place of employment.But I’m a little crazy (a little?!) and constantly concerned so I surprised him with this lock for said fancy bike. It has yet to be stolen in the 3 months we have had this lock and I’m absolutely crediting this bike lock for our stroke of luck.It’s solid, easy to use, and locks. You’d need some pretty hefty bolt cutters to remove it. Will definitely purchase another for my own bike.

The lock was easily cut, the bike was stolen. We will be submitting a police report and filing a warranty claim. I would give it less than 1-Star if I could.

We needed one for out daughters 20" bike. All the standard ones and Onguard ones were too big and kept getting in the way and were un-mountable on a smaller bike. This one fits perfectly without getting in the way and does the job.

Overall its a good buy. White colour are now on sale. This fits very well on my new GoTrax E-bike. The U lock holder fits well with the large tube of my e-bike. Hoping it will work to the thieves as well.

I bought this lock because I liked the colour and I still do, very nice. Also, it is slightly bigger then my current lock, so gives a bit more variety as to where I can leave the bike. And it's easy to lock unlock. Happy with it.
