Excellent pan, cleans easily and retains heat
I had been worried about the surface of frying pans coming off and going who knows where for a long time. Am pleased to have found the Greenpan range, not only are they much healthier, this pan is a good weight for even heat, cooks without sticking and cleans easily. Ive only had it a few weeks but so far so good

Non-stick gone after 4 months - but very good customer service
It's well known that non-stick coatings lose their non-stick ability after about 12 months, regardless of how much you pay for the pan and regardless of care. But this one lasted only 4 months. In fact it is has gone from non-stick to only-stick, i.e. everything sticks even if oil/fat is used, so it's now a useless item.Treated like a baby, no overheating, no dishwasher, no metal utensils. It certainly looks very classy, but 4 months is not acceptable by any standard.UPDATE: Item was replaced by vendor, professional and accurate customer service. The 2nd one so far so good!

Poor Heat Conduction and Multiple Issues
I had very high hopes for these pans, as for a long time I have been wanting to buy a non-toxic non-stick frying pan. When both my conventional non-stick pans gave up their ghost, I read some reviews on these ones and thought I'd invest into these pans (and for me it was truly an investment economically). Before first use, I carefully washed them with a little bit of dish washing liquid and the soft side of a sponge and dried them thoroughly inside and out. Then I had a few unpleasant surprises on first use on my induction hob:- The recommended low to medium temperature took a very long time to heat up the frying oil (I used 5 of my 1-9 induction hob temperature setting, eventually upping to 6, then 7)- Because the inner surface is really smooth and non-stick, the oil pools when hot, leaving large areas of the pan without oil- I added less than a single layer of cubed onions to the oil, distributing the oil a bit more evenly on the pan because it partly soaked into the onions. But it took ages for the onions to cook! I upped the temperature to 7, still they took ages to cook. The onions didn't brown, didn't go glassy, they dried out! Despite covering the frying pan with a lid.- It was also tricky to turn any food in the pan, even when using a professional-style spatula with one-sided ridge, as the food slides around so much on this extremely smooth surface.-The weirdest thing: when left alone, the pan started moving of its own accord, sliding around on the glass hob! As I was using the hot plate next to the edge of the hob, I feared the pan might slide off it. I checked there was no water/ moisture underneath the pan, placed it onto a towel to dry just in case - still same result.- When I eventually lost patience with the onions, I added a single layer of courgettes (cut in quartered rounds). Same thing: they didn't cook, they didn't brown, they dried out, even when adding even more oil and putting the lid back on. The food doesn't taste nice, as the lack of browning translates into a lack of flavour and it was more difficult to digest, too.- I would never be able to cook more than a single layer of anything in these pans (like vegetables) - very unlike the "old" non-stick pans, where I can keep adding vegetables, starting with the ones that take longest, until the food gets close to the rim. That's the reason why I bought the high-rimmed models in the first place - not working for me!- Hot plate was damaged cosmetically after first use with a "veiny" network of markings around the centre of the hot plate (approx. 10 cm diameter)Since this first attempt, I have used the pans on several more occasions, always facing the same issues, except for the moving pan, that has stopped. Two fried eggs (using smaller pan) - same issue, didn't fry sizzlingly, but underside dried out, did get eventually light brown, but not in a normal frying way (adding flavour and crispness) rather as if you'd left a hot iron on its ironing board.I'm very disappointed. I invested what for me is a lot of money and the functionality of these pans turns out to be totally below par.The only promise these pans keep is that they are totally non-stick! But that is a given in a non-stick pan, hence I didn't take my 5 star rating in that category into consideration for overall rating. Can't say anything about durability, as haven't had them long enough.I'm wondering, if these pans might do better on a gas hob, on my induction one they are certainly a waste of money, cooking effort & time. Conclusion: Sadly wouldn't buy again. Waste of good money.

Brilliant pan
This pan is, without doubt, the very best pan we have owned over 50 years. In fact it was so impressive we bought a second one of a different size. Extremely well made, sturdy but lightweight to handle, and totally safe on our ceramic hob. As our other pans become worn out, maybe even before this, we will buy another one this range. Very, very, impressed.

Good quality pans, responsive company
I ordered the pan set a few weeks ago. One of the pans had slight damage on it so I informed GreenPan of the damage, sent then some pictures and they replied saying they will replace the pan free of charge. The second pan just arrived and was better packaged with no damage.I've used one of the pans to cook a steak and it came out perfect, the pan is constructed very well!It is important that they replaced the pan with no arguments at all after providing proof, so I am very pleased with their customer service as well. Well done. Would recommend the toxin-free pans to anyone!

Love this pan!
Lots of reviews said the non-stick disappears after a couple of uses. It hasn't been my experience. I use it almost daily, cooking for four, since I received the pan at least a month ago and it is still going strong. The surface is brand new. I wash it by hand with a "scrub-sponge" (the type with a scratchy/scratch-free side) on its scratchy side, and it works perfectly. Nothing sticks to the surface. And the straighter sides means I can cook saucier things without fearing any spillage.
