Vivaplex12, Clear, 4 oz, Round Glass Jars, with Inner Liners and black Lids

I read many reviews and just didn’t have the same issues with my jars that some others did. These were exactly what I was looking for to fill with homemade rosemary salt to give as gifts. They are the perfect size, have sturdy lids that secure tight, the glass is thick, and they look high quality. I will definitely buy these again.

I was concerned about one reviewer who said the jars had a defective design in that the lower edge of the cap bottomed out on the shoulder of the glass jar, so it wouldn't seat completely (as I am using these to store oil-based paint). I checked my batch of jars and they are fine. The optional plastic cap you can use does act as an additional gasket, but I removed it and screwed the lid down and there was plenty of clearance to the shoulder on the jar so you can tighten the cap as much as you want.The glass on the jars themselves are quite thick and stout and the plastic lids look robust enough that I am confident they won't crack or split when tightened down as one reviewer opined. The main reason I bought these 1/4th pint (8 ounce) jars is it's impossible to get metal pint cans in this size shipped to Hawaii. Freight on a dozen is something like $40-$115. I even checked Ebay with no luck. None of the paint or autobody equipment stores locally sell these size metal cans either. So I had to go with glass jars. I use them to aliquot Rust Bullet paint or hardener for my $300/gallon PPG PSX700 siloxane paint, as most of the paint work I do is touch up. Ever tried pouring a small amount of paint or hardener from a gallon or quart paint can??? Ugh!

I think that these glass jars make your hand made bath and body products look more elegant than putting them in the plastic jars. I do still stick with plastic for things that people would use in the tub or shower though to keep from having one break accidentally

Love these jars. I have them in the 8 oz as well and use them primarily for mixing paint. They are a thick solid glass and both the glass and lids are easy to clean and re-use.

I love the sturdiness of the glass, but unfortunately the plastic lids cracked as I tightened them. I wanted to exchange just the lids as I had already poured my product into the glass jars and didn't want to throw the product away, but that's not an option on the return page. I ended up ordering metal lids from another company to fit my jars. This was the only time this has happened, so I'm thinking maybe this batch of lids was defective. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident, because I really like these jars for my product.

These give a nice professional, high quality appearance to any product you are making, whether scrubs or body butters. I love these.They are also refillable since they are glass. Just clean and sanitize after using. Let them dry thoroughly and wipe down with a bit of rubbing alcohol... then refill!

Just received. Was delivered in 2 days. Sadly one of the jars broke during shipment. I’m sure I could return but I don’t want to wait for a new shipment lol the jars are perfect!! Just like what I had expected. I don’t remember reading it but there’s also this little seal that goes on before the lid. I am very happy with these and foresee myself buying many more to hold my herb blends.

I used these for storage of tea blends. They worked out Wonderfully. Definitely would purchase them again.
