AMAZING!!!
I had been a borderlands fan ever since the first borderlands game came out, this is well written and an amazing art style. Once you start you will not want to put it down I'm on my way to get the 2nd issue. Great game, great books ,and great comic series.

Hope it gets better
Just a bit short. But as a fan of the series I will give the other books a chance. Still makes me want to play the games again.

Borderlands: A World of Unyielding Fun
It's always great to hear more from the Borderlands universe. Mikey Neumann's storytelling sucks you right back in to the world established by the game, and the gorgeous artwork makes this a really easy story to get lost in. My only complaint? I couldn't dive right into #2 when I was finished!

I really wanted to psycho-love you like a meat puppet but you smell a bit like a rabid barf skag....
I really wanted to love this and yes, I will read the rest of them as I am a big Borderlands fan however, in a game that uses such an icon cell shading comic book art style - why the hell does the comic book have a completely different style to it? The main characters (especially Mordecai & Bloodwing -what is up with all the muscles and lack of dreads?? ) look incredibly different from the game. Even their personalities seem off - Marcus is not sleazy, Lilith is not conceded and bitchy like she is in the 1st game, Brick has almost no dialogue and Mordi is not snarky. and It really annoyed me as I wanted to love this comic book. The art is great in its own way but looks nothing like the game (I had the same issues with Origins) -I've seen way more accurate fan art/fan fiction that made me feel like I was reading a scene from a day on Pandora than this pro comic book. The other thing that was frustrating was the length - it's incredibly short. $4 on kindle for 26 pages - it's about a 2 min read. WTF guys? I am hopeful that the next issue will be longer, the art will become more Borderlands and less GI Joe and the characters will become more like their games selves but sadly I don't think that will be happening.
