Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Caramel with SPF 20 for Lightweight Flawless Coverage

I've used it before so I knew what I was ordering. The color is perfect for me and the weight of the makeup is not heavy. Easy to apply.

I have tried many tinted moisturizers and this one is by far the best. It offers enough coverage to hide my flaws (and there are many), but it allows my real skin to shine through. This tinted moisturizer goes on smoothly without falling into the tiny creases around my eyes. I simply put on a little Laura Mercier cocealer in the corner of my eyes and on the broken capillaries around my nose then cover my whole face with this moisturizer. In the summer, I may add a brush stroke or two of powder to eliminate any shine.......other than that........ my face is basically done........... and I get compliments on my skin all of the time; people don't even think I'm wearing make up.

This was the first time I have tried the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisture foundation, and it will not be my last.It is pricey, but you do get what you pay for, and this deserves it's price tag.This is a great product, that goes on smooth and evenly, while locking in moisture.I do not look madeup, but still have a very good coverage.Since I am 61 years old this is extremely important to me. I've always preferred to keep things natural, so will always be on the lookout for products that have a very light coverage, where I can just even out my skin tone a bit, and avoid the caked on look that many go for with the medium-full coverage foundations.Maybe my review will be biased because my holy grail light coverage foundation from Stila got discontinued so I'm comparing everything to that one, which even though it was sold as a foundation it was more like a tinted moisturizer but gave an illuminating finish, giving a very natural look, like the no-makeup makeup look. Since everyone is selling medium-full coverage I haven't been able to find it's equal as a foundation, so now I dip my toes in tinted moisturizers.I really wanted to like this. I had hopes for it after reading some of the reviews, but I honestly just didn't like it. Perhaps it's because I got the wrong shade. It made me look pale and quite ill looking. It didn't give an even finish, and I agree with what someone else said that it was quite dry and scummy feeling on the skin. I found that it's not very forgiving if you have dry skin, as it will cling to those areas. It has a very dry finish, not a natural healthy dewy finish. I did change my skincare routine since using this, so I no longer have dry skin, but the shade is all wrong and I just didn't like the feel of it on my skin at all. It was something I just wanted to wash off my face.

I bought this along with the Laura Mercier Universal finishing powder and I wasted my money on both. Although I have normal/combination skin, this stuff feels dry and scummy, like it needed some oil mixed in. Doesn't seem to have any moisturizing qualities whatsoever. And the coverage of the tint is extremely patchy and splotchy. I tried using less. I tried using more. It made no difference! So here I have a large tube of incredibly expensive product which neither moisturizes or tints.

Have used this for years. Great product. Light, slight coverage, moisturizing and protects with SPF.

This is the nicest tinted moisturizer I have ever used. It goes on very silky and looks very natural. I have gotten many comments about how great/smooth my skin looks. It's a bit pricey, but worth it I think. I will definitely buy it again!

The perfect everyday base. It's so light on the skin and gives you just enough tint for a little glow. It definitely doesnt have the coverage of an average foundation but if you want something light and abit dewy, this is a good option.

Es segundo producto que utilizo, y de verdad muy bien. Lo utilizo como base de maquillaje, tiene color muy natural un poco dorado, camufla lo gusto sin pasarse a parte lleva proteccion, seria perfecta un poco mas alta, pero esta bien

Love the foundation and great to buy off amazon instead of going to the shop. Leaves a nice sheen over face and doesn't look like a caked foundation look, nice and light and even coverage
