It really works
It works even with a small amount of champagne in a bottle. It pops when uncorked. These things are great. A little hard to get into the bottle somethings but it is worth the effort.

Other than the disposable aspect, this is one of the best products I have found for wine preservation. I have had a lot of valuable bottles I have trusted to be preserved for sometimes weeks on end and as long as you keep the bottle upright, the wine comes out great when reopened. I do not believe it works as well if you are trying to reopen it multiple times over multiple days, however, it does still help to preserve the wine longer than a normal cork does by a long shot.
