The Unworry Book

My seven year old has enjoyed reading through and doing some of the activities. I let him choose what to look at, and he spent quite a bit of time on multiple days...picked up the book with no prompting. I'd say that's a great recommendation!

Filled with wonderful activities! Endless pages! Very happy.

Bought this for my 7year old as she was struggling with anxiety (specifically at bedtime) just having this book by the side of her bed and knowing that if she cant sleep she can pick it up seems to be doing the trick! The activities are perfect to distract from worries but not so interactive that she is then wide awake!I highly recommend!

Great to dip into - bought this for my almost seven-year-old as he was finding it hard to keep his cool over big feelings. The 'what ifs' bit in the book has stuck with him in particular but there were many other parts he seemed reassured by too. Shortly after reading it he was going back to school after lockdown and he voiced his concerns as, "I have lots of 'what ifs' about it."

I bought this book to help my 10 year old who is suffering with detachment issues, the book is amazing it has lots of fun ways to distract your negative thoughts and fun activities too, as an adult I too found it very helpful all in all an amazingly well thought out and put together book.

My son has used this book and found it helpful. He was anxious and worried and as a result pulled out his hair.After doing the activities in this book and talking with us he has stopped pulling out his hair.

My son has been really struggling though this lock down and a friend recommended this book. I’ve got to say it’s been amazing and I couldn’t believe the change in him after going through it.So many wonderful ideas of how to make him feel better with himself and stopping him from worrying. His favourite bit is drawing on his Island and it’s lovely to see him smiling again.
