Q: I plan to use this on a faux fur blanket. I am afraid it won't fit in the bag. Is it possible to use Dryel without a bag in only the dryer?

I wouldn't try it- why not temporarily sew up (with large stiches) a fitted bed sheet and toss the blanket and Dryel sheet in it?

I have never had shrinkage on any setting. Nice product in a pinch.
