Used in my Aarma Notorious
Sooooo, the speed gear for the thing was 14 and stock was a 12. I jumped and put a 16 in the thing, no shims, no fuss, used some blue lock tight... The RC truck was going a little slower than the stock gearing. I look at the controller, oops it was on 50%. I clicked over to 100 and this thing is uncontrollable and 1/2 - 3/4 speed. I never made it to full speed, but I think I should cut some holes in the body for air flow. Anyway, can't wait to jack up the gearing on the Krayton next.

Handles 6s power
So far so good. These gears seem strong and the teeth mesh up perfectly. Running my Kraton with the 16t and my 6s top speed maxed around 60mph. The stock 13t pinion just won't pull you out of those fatal nosedives, so grab this set for all sorts of applications. From 15t hill bashing to 19t speed runs,

Not as advertised
Advertised to fit the X-Maxx. 100% do NOT fit. The gear face isn't wide enough, and as you can see the X-Maxx gear on the left has a much larger hole which is necessary to fit over the motor shaft to get proper gear engagement.Maybe worth it for other situations, but dont order for an X-Maxx.

Set screws come loose
Decent gears but the set screws end up coming loose no matter how much lock tight you end up using. I had them in my talion 6s. With factory screws seemed to hold up fine

Hub is too long to locate pinion on motor shaft..
I have a Tekno eb48 2.1 buggy with a Tekin 2050 motor. The problem I have with these pinion gears is the hubs are too long for the length of motor shaft. With the hub in, the pinion only contacts the spur gear 3/4s of the way. If I flip it with the hub out then the set screw doesn't make enough contact with the motor shaft enough to hold it on when running. So these are useless for my application.
