I have a lot of good and a little negative to say about it
I got mine setup today. I have a lot of good and a little negative to say about it.First, although it was free shipping, it was apparently sent next day delivery. Contrary to what the estimated delivery date said, it showed up about 30 hours after I ordered it. Secondly, as others have said, this was pretty impressively packaged. They clearly didn't want these to arrive damaged.Once fully assembled, I am impressed by how much more comfortable the desk feels. The 10 degree sloped front edge is a nice change from the sharp 90 degree edge I am used to on any other desk. The size is right about perfect, and it sure makes my computer setup look cool. I am going to enjoy this desk for a very long time. Now, for a few low points.1. The "wood" desktop is just a typical laminated particle board. I don't mind, but it does seem silly to have this "wood" texture across the surface.2. My "wood" desktop did arrive with a very small nick in the surface. Again, it doesn't ruin the desk, but I did notice it right away and it will always be there.3. That fabric thing on the back of the desk is stretched very tightly. And guess who has to stretch it? That fourth screw was very difficult to get in.4. The instructions were fine and easy to understand. Assembly went easy... at first. It's not until the end, when most of the desk is 'clipped' together that it finally tells you to put the screws in. At this point, some of the screw holes didn't line up very well, and it was too late to wiggle parts around to relieve the problem. One screw was nearly impossible to get in because the hole was so misaligned. After some heavy strong-arming of the desk, I finally managed to get it in. I strongly recommend putting the screws in as you go, rather than waiting until the end.5. On the subject of screws, there are a large number of Philips head screws under the front plastic part, holding it together. These are factory installed. However, many were only half-screwed in for whatever reason. The instructions don't say anything about these screws, but you really should take a screwdriver and make sure that all of these are snugly screwed in.So, this is an awesome desk, and easily gets 5 stars compared to all those other desks out there, but assembly can have some unexpected hurdles.

Great desk but small for a loaded gaming set-up
I have had this desk for about 4 years now. It was easy to assemble and it's sturdy as heck! The table top is a wood materiel which surprised me a bit but has held up well. The edge attachments are plastic but have also held up very well despite moving it many many times throughout my time with it. It's a great and comfortable desk.*The only problem I have run into is when I started upgrading my computer set-up (I use it for my gaming PC). I went from one monitor to two 27" monitors and realized I didn't have the space to keep my PC tower on it. Which was a bit upsetting because like many others, aesthetics are important if you build a PC. The desk itself is also a bit shallow when it comes to having room for your monitors/keyboard/mouse and any other gadgets you might have, like headphone stands ect. If you don't mount your monitor(s) you will find that you are really pushing the depth space on top. I'd highly recommend this desk to anyone that doesn't have a need to really showcase everything you have on the desk itself. As for me, I need to upgrade so my PC tower doesn't have to sit on a end-table next to the desk.

neat idea but but bad implimentation
not a horrible desk, it goes together easily and looks decent.the reason i took away stars is that the the front edge is plastic and is slightly raised. With the plastic there you effectively loose a good portion of the from of the desk. its not big enough to put a keyboard or a mouse pad on, this forces you to keep your mouse an keyboard much farther into the desk then normal and the plastic part cuts off circulation in the wrist after using it for a while making this desk not work for any long term gaming. Also when i received the desk the plastic on one of the legs was broken.Overall its a disappointing desk

Not what I expected
After reading the positive reviews I thought this was going to be a great addition. However I was clearly mistaken. While some parts of the desk are sturdy, other are cheap plastic which either didn't line up or snapped when building the desk.I would caution against buying this desk as it is clearly not worth the investment.

High quality build for a very good price... I was very surprised
When I bought this, I thought I was buying an overpriced mediocre desk for the cool factor, but I was very surprised by what I got. What arrived was a quality desk that was worth the money paid. The black finish on the heavy and very thick desktop was flawless. All of the screw holes lined up perfectly on assembly, the plastic parts were created using a high quality plastic. Are there things I don't like? Sure... I wish there was an option to mount a monitor stand, but I knew that going in. I would get rid of the fabric panel that covers the back and replace it with something else, but it is barely visible and again, I knew it was there going in to the purchase... and since my computer backs against a wall I just turned it around so the logo faces out. Bottom line this desk is a high quality build, that is easy to assemble, comfortable to us, and looks really dang cool sitting next to my computer... if there is an earthquake in my area, this desk is where I am hiding under.
