This stuff works. The water is now clear. I have used this in a well application and municipal application and the results were excellent in both. Even if you think your softener is clean, run this through and you will be amazed at the difference in how the water looks. Definitely worth it. You will not be disappointed.

This cleans my dishwasher. I used it in place of dishwasher detergent and ran it empty. It cleaned the tannin that was stuck to the inside. I have tried a few dishwasher cleaners and nothing worked but this is perfect. I put about a cup of this powder in my clothes washing machine with hot water and agitated for about 10 minutes then let it soak for an hour or two. It lightened the brown tannin off the inside of the machine. Tannin is difficult to deal with but this product works great. It might also work for tannin stained clothes.

Seemed like the water got really dark like it was cleaning the tanks. After we did two cycles with the recommended amount in the softener it just went back to normal. Our water is full of tannins. Didn’t work for us. But maybe if your water isn’t so bad.

This is a great product for maintaining your water softener. This is the 2nd bottle I've purchased. The price jumped from around $20 for the first purchase to $34 for this purchase. I understand some increase due to inflation, but a 170% increase seems a bit excessive. I'll have to look for this elsewhere.

I use this in my watersoftener. Keeps the water clear.
