Oktoberfest Cookbook: Authentic Recipes from the World s Greatest Beer Festival Hardcover – August 18, 2015

I went to Oktoberfest last year and saw this book at all the stands and tourist shops. I wanted to buy it but didn't want to lug it around the festival. I did the second best thing and ordered it online and had it waiting for me when I got home. I love the easy to read recipes and love all the little stories and insights to the traditions of Oktoberfest. Great addition to my cookbook collection.

I like the book - I got it as a gift for my boyfriends family. Lots of the dishes do not sound very delicious and it’s a little sad cuz I feel like they left out more delicious recipes. It’s a nice design tho and the family already chose some recipes to cook.

when one can't be there at Oktoberfest in person, one can still enjoy the sustenance of it in one's own kitchen and "patio/Festplatz" ! A fun book, authentic and doable recipes, results that smile and say "Ah! Das Schmekt !"

This book is fantastic! The author is extremely knowledgable and the recipes are easy to follow. The book is filled with beautiful pictures for almost every recipe.

Some of the recipes omit "how much" etc...to put into the recipe

Bought as a gift. Used quite a bit.

I get tired of doing this every time I purchase something. I t gets very annoying. I would not purchase if I did not things would be done to my expectations.

Well written with great accurate information. Now I want to attend Oktoberfest!!! Before I was only interested in the food.

Ich habe das Kochbuch als Geschenk für eine amerikanische Freundin gekauft. Ich muss sagen die Kochangaben waren sehr schlüssig. Die Fotos haben Appetit gemacht und es wurden interessante Rezepte ausgewählt. Typisch deutsche Küche. Die Verarbeitung war sehr hochwertig. Ideal als Mitbringsel für englischsprechende Freunde, Verwandte und Bekanntschaften.

Good book with interesting traditional recipes

This book was received promptly from Wordery in new condition. My wife has not had chance to try the recipes contained but from reading the book she knows that the recipes are excellent as she spent many years living in south Germany and eating this food. A Really good book. Recommended for German cooking.

I did like the variety of recipes and added info regarding Oktoberfest.
