Overall, this is a very good product.
Machine produces ice quickly. Ice comes out a little too wet but it helps to let ice basket drain a bit on a folded towel each time before storing. Best to store in plastic bag and drop bag in sink or on tile floor a couple of times to break up ice before it freezes solid. Kind of a nuisance, yes, but not bad if you are working nearby. This was a better choice for us than paying a big chunk of money to have the glitchy icemaker in our full sized freezer repaired.Instruction manual for this small icemaker is not well written. Many questions unanswered. I suggest just working with the machine a few times and getting the hang of it. For example, you can interrupt the cycle at any point, retrieve your ice, and return later. A full cycle takes about 2 hours. Start with cold, filtered water.

Buy something cheaper if it’s not going to last more than 6 months
It stopped working after 6 months. This thing is very expensive for a countertop ice maker. Very dissatisfied with this thing.

Wonderful icemaker
This is by far the best icemaker we have ever purchased it definitely makes 45 pounds of ice a day that’s wonderful.
