Evenflo Embrace LX Infant Car Seat, Raleigh

Its ok. It serves its purpose. I travelled all the time with my infant starting at 2 weeks. It passed the test at the hospital. Pediatrician is 30 min away 1 way. I also travelled up and down the coast 6 hours few times. I was always concerned that my baby's chin was alway resting on her chest. The neck support is not that great. The head support that comes with it doesnt support my babys head and her head always falls forward. I stuffed rolled up receiving blankets on the sides of her head and it finally held her head up somewhat. Shes 16 weeks now and she still hates it when we start strapping her. I think its because it rubs on her neck. And we have used the 2nd height setting now. When we strap the car seat in our car, it still has quite a bit of side to side wiggle room. Ive youtubed the proper way and even taken it to fire station. The fireman said its strapped properly but i should get a different brand. There are better brands out there. Its 1 month since i visited the fire station and im finally going to buy a different seat as Ive had to hold my baby's head twice now. We have taken the car seat to hawaii for vacation and my babys head wobbles. Also, the airport is 3 hrs away, and ive had to hold my baby's head for support. This car seat is Ok but if you travel as much as us, then buy the more expensive one.

This is a decent car seat for the price. It comes with the base and the headrest (which can be adjusted and moved) works really well. The fabric isn't very breathable but it's very easy to wipe clean - which we've already had to do once. It might be a bit hot for a Summer baby though. We use the LATCH system with the base and it's extremely easy to adjust. However, in our car, it only works on one setting or else the leveler on the front of the seat moves into the red zone.The only complaints I have are things others have mentioned. The canopy is practically useless as it isn't large enough to block much sun at all. The handle is also a bit awkward which makes carrying the car seat a bit of a hassle - especially if you're a bit on the petite side. Despite those flaws I'd probably purchase this seat again.

I love this seat. It's easy to clean, easy to maneuver, easy to adjust. The hardest thing about it was the install only because i struggled to get it stable enough. Then I realized I needed to put my weight into, and it tightened just fine. My grandson is 13 mo, and I've been using it since he was born. He's 27 lbs, and I don't think he'll make it to the full 35 lbs in this due to the shoulder strap adjustment. It needs one more level to accommodate his growth. Yesterday was the first time I noticed it causing him to sweat, but that may be because it was over 90 degrees and the car ride was only 10 minutes. The car didn't have time to cool down. His parents always say he screams when you put him in a car seat, but I haven't had that issue. Maybe he just like this one best. :)

The idea of putting a newborn into a seat horrified me, but because it is a requirement to take the baby home, I sat down and did very extensive research before purchasing. I could say my work paid off the very moment the NICU nurse helped to put my then 3 days old son into it. She even complemented on the additional cushion for the head, which also gave me peace of mind that his head was not flopping around. The bottom line, if you are looking for an infant car seat which will support your tiny 2-3 days old bundle of joy , do not spend hundreds of dollars, look no further. Mom tested, nurse approved. 3 months later im still satisfied with the purchase, I just changed the level of the shoulder straps, because he grew up and got rid of the additional cushion lining I used before ( not included with the seat).

I purchased this car seat for our fourth baby and am really not impressed. The base shifts around a ton even though we have it pulled as tight as possible with the latch system. We even tried using the seat belt over top of that and didn't get better results. The canopy is so short it won't serve as any kind of protection from the sun or anything for that matter. The canopy is also so close to the handle that when it's in carrying position, there's no room for my arm to slide through without shoving the canopy back or completely smooshing it down under my arm. The canopy also doesn't stay popped out and it frequently pops back. Instead of being able to grab the canopy from the top in the middle I have to grab both sides near where they attach to the car seat and pop them forward. The head rest is also annoying because it's so flimsy and flops around. I would have rather gotten one that velcroed or stayed fastened to the seat in some way. This one is just hooked around the strap adjustment area with a thin piece of fabric. I've carried this seat around several times to practice and make sure it's not just me, and it's not. I didn't want to spend a fortune on an infant car seat because this will most likely be our last, so I was hoping to get a better overall seat for this price. The more I try to use it the more I dislike it. I'll be returning it and picking out something else.

I really like the look of this car seat and it's pretty light to carry, although infant car seats are awkward to carry in general.I drive an SUV and installation wasn't too difficult, it just takes some trial and error to get the base in snugly.The carrying handle on the car seat adjusts very easily and the buttons aren't stubborn like other seats we've used.What really sells this car seat for me is that it fits in a babytrend double stroller that I recently purchased. I did a lot of researching to make sure they were compatible and was pleased that the car seat fit securely once assembled.Happy customer!

Me parecio muy adecuado el precio. Esta muy comodo y acojinado para el bebe. Ideal para viajes lo unico que me parece incomodo para papa o mama es que ya con bebe pesa mucho a la hora de encajarlo en la base.

Eficiente de acuerdo al costo, no muy bueno para autos pequeños.
