Correct. The box says it is a nylon tea bag. Likely it is food grade nylon. Which you can look up online. Please note the proper brewing temperature is 80C. I would not worry unless you are putting the teabag into water and then boiling it. If you are using boiling water, you are ruining the flavor anyway. Also, the "new study" you cite is from 2006. Personally, I'd worry more about the 30-40 years it takes for the bag to decompose. You have to cut the teabag open and take out the spent tea to compost it. (Which my plants love, by the way).
