Exactly what I was looking for
Bought this when my original shift knob finally stripped out after 18 years. Went on without adapters, got nice and tight and does not move. Perfect size for my "normal/average" size hand, looks amazing!The other comments about it heating up in the summer are accurate, however that doesn't bother me. It's not like its burning my hand, it's just a bit uncomfortable when it's over 85 degrees or in all day direct sunlight. I'm kind of a smart guy, so I keep an old sock in the glove box, and if it is a super hot day, and I'm leaving the car in the sun all day I put the sock over the ball, and it takes care of the problem.Excellent quality, heavy, solid, and would recommend.

Fits 2009 Mustang Perfectly
The shift knob was a very welcome upgrade for my 09 Mustang. Only issue that I know of is it retains the temperature really well. This is an issue because on hot days it will feel like it's going to burn you, cold days feels like it's going to give you frost bite. Other than that it fits well in hand and is nice and solid.

Not bad for the price. But one flaw
Got this for the Miata, it has a nice weighty feel.It required the use of the included thread adaptor collars which was nice. BUT.... there's no way to lock the knob at the correct rotation on the gear lever with the text aligned, so I had to screw the collar down tight on the stick then coat the outer threads of the collar with JB weld so when I screwed the knob on it could be aligned and glued in the correct rotation. If you just screw it down as is then you could end up with the text all crooked or upside down. But overall it's a nice addition to the car and would recommend.

Got stuck on shifter.
This item looks nice but when I went to take it off after test fitting it it wouldn’t come off. I had to use a pair of adjustable pliers to get it off which ruined the paint on the edges. I had only tightened it by hand! When I finally did get it to come off the threads were all messed up. Do not buy this product if you plan on ever removing it.

its the perfect size
it fits in my hand so well, looks and feels great, but if its in the sun you cant drive because you will burn your hand
