Perfect!
I am a quadriplegic and I use these to make my physical media entirely accessible. I have hundreds of CDs and the space saving is amazing. I also use the DVD sleeves. Even for Blu-ray. Keeps everything the same height so it is easier to flip through the crates. I use Sterilite mini crates that cost about 2 dollars. Amazon marked those up too much. I do recommend getting inner CD sleeves. This company sells them but I got a set of 600. They're soft, don't scratch the CDs, and this means I don't need to buy a different style and hope everything fits. For the DVDs I fit 6 or 7 that way. I have fit 4 CDs from a box set into one of these slip covers. I prefer this over the CD rubbing on the art as I lost a few CDs to that in binders where the art adhered to them over time. They're easy to use if a bit slippery. I tore the corners on a few due to my coordination issues and they're still perfectly usable without a further tear over time. I don't think most people would rip them. They're sturdy, clear, and feel very good. I don't know if any affordable competitors. The other brands I looked at were more expensive for less quantity and quality so I do think this is a good value. The CD holders I added also fit perfectly with the top facing sideways. This both locks the CDs into the sleeve so I don't make a mess if I drop them and looks nice for the CDs that no longer have art. I made dividers out of post card paper from Avery. I am adding a picture of the DVDs because the CDs aren't in a spot I want to show online. It's the same concept but they're shorter so you can stack them without any risk to your dividers. The ease of organizing and accessibility are absolutely worth the effort it took to do this with my CDs and I will buy again and again. Do check other sites as sometimes eBay and other places have some good deals.

Great space saving Sleeves
I don't often play CD's, instead I put all the music on my streamer and keep all my CD's in storage, I hate scratched, broken and bulky jewel cases so this sleeves fit my needs perfectly (except for Digipacks and Box Sets). That said I wouldn't recommend putting your CD's in without some sort of inner sleeve, I've read some of the reviews complaining about possible scratches from the disc inserts and the sleeve causing stains. I have included an image with the sleeves I use. the ones in the middle you can find here on Amazon they're made of plastic but have an insert made of a softer fabric, fits two CD's and they are resealable. The ones on the right and what I would recommend are like the ones used in Japanese Mini LP CDs, they're made of an even softer fabric but much more expensive and not sold on Amazon, you will have to look elsewhere to buy them. On the downside if you have a collection in the thousands it will be a big investment and if you play your CDs often you will need to find a way to organize them as finding them is much harder since you no longer have cd spines. Lastly I would recommend some sort of prying tool to separate the trays of the jewel cases instead of your fingers, the plastic can be sometimes brittle and break causing injury.

Gets the job done
It took 5 packs of these to transfer my CD collection from the jewel cases to something I could store in a simple tray. They easily hold 2-CD compilations even if there's a large booklet included with the CD. The storage trays I bought hold about 75 CDs if I don't pack them in. (search B07SPDR27F in the Amazon search bar). They seem sturdy enough since they'll just be sitting in a box. They're easy to load the CD cover and back cover into. Drop in the CD, place it in the tray, done in a couple of lazy Sunday afternoons. The big thing is they allowed me to take 500 CDs in a huge plastic storage tote and condense them down to 6 storage trays holding about 75-80 CDs each...the whole collection takes up about 4 feet of shelf space in my office. Crazy efficient and simple. It's a good way to extend the life of your CD collection which, if you have a large collection, can get pretty unwieldy in terms of the storage space required. I was on the verge of donating them all. All you give up is your ability to see the side of the CD case...but I found that flipping through them got me listening to CDs I might have skipped past.Worth it.

Great way to store CD instead of the plastic cases.
Plastic cases are safe but heavy when you store a bunch into a container or drawer. However, if you want to sell them to a dealer, they'll want the original case and artwork. If you intend on keeping them anyway you want, this is a great alternative. The plastic will hold up to two discs, including the artwork. People here are complaining that the plastic will eventually stick to the disc itself, and it'll damage it. What I do is, put the disc into a CD/DVD paper sleeve. The paper sleeve will protect it from damage or scratches. Paper sleeves are cheap on Amazon.I have come across a few that were slightly torn. But it's a plastic sleeve after allI like buying these plastic CD sleeves and will buy more in the future.

Great space saver, durable and effective
Nearly two decades ago, in preparation for an overseas move, I popped hundreds of my CDs out of their plastic jewel cases and put them in binders, along with full liner notes. I still have and make daily use of my music collection, and was just waiting for the right storage solution to come along. These plastic envelopes turned out to be what I've been waiting for all along! The size works perfectly to keep the liner notes for the back tray flat and intact, which is the main thing that I was looking for. I quickly went through my first set of 100. Looks like I'll need a lot more! Happy to return to this product for CD storage needs.

Space Savings to the Max!
Ditch your jewel cases and put your CDs with their paper contents in these and you will be glad you did. I only wanted to put some of my less played discs in these but I liked them so much I did my whole collection.
