MilwaukeeElectric Tool 2441-21 M12 Caulk Gun Kit, 12 V

Purchased this to dispense urethane sealer/adhesive for an automotive window. Read people who have replaced their windshields and the urethane adhesive was very difficult to dispense, as they recommended an electric caulking gun. So this is the exact reason why I purchased this kit. I only needed the caulking gun as I have many M12 batteries, but at the time, Amazon did not have the "tool-only" for Amazon Prime.I purchased this item via Amazon Warehouse Deals with free Prime shipping. It took Amazon a while before they shipped it out. I needed to upgrade my shipping to Priority in hopes of getting it within a week.I purchased Dow brand urethane adhesive for automotive windows in a 10oz cartridge. This is the standard caulking cartridge. There is an adjustable knob that regulates how much caulking material is dispensed. When the trigger is released, the tool automatically backs the piston a bit, to prevent caulking from dripping from the nozzle. A very intelligent design.The assembly of the tool was a bit difficult. The piston was difficult to place onto the rod, which required a lot of pressure to get it on right. Then the piston is secured by a machine screw.I am extremely happy with this purchase. Even though I only purchased this to dispense the urethane adhesive, I am still able to use this to dispense other caulking from standard 10oz tubes.

This tool is fantastic. All the guys love the ease and end result. Battery last forever. Speed control is excellent. Nothing but good to say!

Caulking gun worked well the first time. Saved a lot of time. Milwaukee makes good products.

I use a lot of Lexel caulking and when it gets below 50 degrees or so outside its very hard to use a manual gun with the Lexel. The first time I used this gun to apply the Lexel caulking was just fantastic. The control the gun has is better than a manual gun, and I love the 'auto retract' so the caulk does not drip out when you stop. This gun makes caulking fun !

This has been a great addition to my tool box. I own a pest control and wildlife business. Excluding pests a caulking gun is a have to have tool. This saves a lot of hand fatigue when doing large jobs. The battery life is exceptional. The end results look like professional work has been done. Great tool. The only con I have is it is a little bulky but totally worth it.

Dump those manual caulk guns....this makes caulking look professional and makes it so much easier. I first saw this when I was getting my windshield replaced and the guy from Safelite was using one for the windshield and I saw how easily it worked and laid down the adhesive. He told me one of the best tools. I already had this brand drill which is also well made so the batteries are interchangeable.

Been a caulking maniac with this thing, the main downfall with this is the size. It is extremely wide but it is small enough to fit in most spaces. Also, the lack of a light. I assumed since most of the tools on the m12 and m18 line up are equipped with an led next to the trigger I was a bit bummed when I started using this under my cabinets and no assist light was in sight.
