Seems to be a good alternative to the branded item
I bought this because I lost my original Nikon charger. As the camera is not new and I didn't want to splash out a fortune on the branded item I thought I would give this a go. I was a bit sceptical at first because it didn't look like battery would even fit in the charger - it doesn't sit in snugly like the Nikon one. But I shouldn't have worried - it was all good and seems to do the job very well. I would recommend it as an alternative if you are not concerned about branded items.

Works Fine in Nikon 1 J5
This is the first time I have ever purchased a 'non-Nikon' battery! The battery exhibits a completely normal charge cycle and is completely compatible with the Nikon 1 J5. This battery is only a fraction of the price of the genuine Nikon battery. It has a warranty for 2 years, I guess only time will tell how many charge cycles the battery lasts but I haven't heard of any problems with regard to this.

Excellent value providing a good amount of power and quick ...
Bought these to accompany me on a 3 week trip as alternative to Nikon originals at around £45 each. Excellent value providing a good amount of power and quick charging. They don't seem to hold charge as long as the Nikon original whilst in storage, starts to drop off after a three or four weeks but that isn't an issue for me. Highly recommended as back up batteries

Inexpensive and great back up
What can I say about this apart from for £9 you can't go wrong with this as a back up battery. I bought this for my Nikon 1 J5 and it works great. Plus at a fraction of the cost of an original battery!

Does the job but no indication when charged
This charger is quite a tight fit for the battery which is fine but the charging lamp does not turn off when the battery is charged meaning you have to use your judgement as to when the battery is fully charged. Not great for that reason.

Really useful!
It has more capacity than the genuine item from Nikon. This could last me the whole day of shooting with Nikon 1 J5.

Great battery from a reliable supplier
Works very well in my camera, the extra battery capacity lets you snap away for hundreds of shots without worrying about running out of power.
