Wine Decanter, EraVino Premium Horn Wine Decanter - Crystal Wine Decanter.

I bought one of these (at least Amazon says it was the same) about 3 years back. It served faithfully. The tip of the spout got chipped, but was otherwise fine. It was pretty heavy and thick glass at the spout and neck. But, another item fell against it and knocked it over, shattering it as one would expect, so I "re-ordered" the "same one".The new one I received is very thin glass and about half the weight. That might be fine, but time will tell if that makes it more fragile. The event that chipped my first one would end this new one. My real complaint with this new one is that it doesn't sit flat or level. The base allows it to rock slightly and it sits leaning just slightly. Seems like this was victim of a cost reduction that has reduced the quality.Be aware that these are difficult to clean. I have quite a few caraf cleaning tools and none can reach everywhere. My first developed a red film inside over time that wiped off where I could reach, but remained elsewhere. I am now careful to rinse with soapy water right after every use. Its also hard to dry to avoid water spots, but if you wipe it down and pour out after it sits for 5 minutes, it will be close. A fine-weave microfiber works great.It still works okay, for now. And it is still nice looking at a reasonable price.

Okay so I have only recently really gotten into wine drinking but I have to say I would have started sooner if I'd had this to look all fancy with.The style of the decanter is great (and looks just like the photo). It arrived in pristine condition and is beautiful. The crafting is perfection and there are no visible flaws. It's very light but not to the point that it's extremely delicate.The pouring is also very easy and clean. It didn't drip or run down the side and it looks beautiful whether empty or full. It's also easy to pour the wine into and doesn't splash or create a mess.The decanter it's self is very slim and easy to store as well as rinse.Overall I'm extremely thrilled to have received this item in return for an honest and unbiased review. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has even a semi regular need for a decanter for entertaining.

This is a glass decanter, and the seller honestly say so. The look of this decanter is very good,sleek & smooth. It's a pleasure to look at. The package is super, The decanter is protected inside a (hard) styrofoam box. This kind of package is usually associated with high end products, which is not in this price range.It merits four star, but I give the seller an extra star for standing up to his/her product by saying it's made of glass. Unless you have the dough to buy the reall thing (which is around half a grand), I highly recommend this decanter from this seller (link below). It's deffinately a beautiful glass art piece that could be used for decorating, staging, anything really with interior design. But it works amazingly as a decanter, for its original purpose. Most wines that we've poured to let it breathe, has come out beautifully. Easy to clean as well. Just rinse with water and turn upside down to air dry.

The decanter looks great, has a good surface area, and pours well. We bought it as a gift, and the gift recipient absolutely absolutely LOVES it.

What is not to like?I haven't used it as a decanter yet; it sits in a shelf looking pretty.

This is a very nice design but poorly implemented and marketed. The first one I ordered had bubbles, which IS to be expected in a hand-blown item, and a black "smudge" or streak inside the glass, which is not acceptable. I ordered a replacement. The second was clearly someone else's reject. The box was torn and re-taped, and the decanter had many scratches inside and a prominent "glob" of glass toward the bottom (along with the usual bubbles, which were OK). Given the many positive reviews, I'm ordering a third, hoping the third will be a charm. If not, I'll comment further. Wish me luck.UPDATE: My third decanter has arrived and looks pretty good. However, like the others, this was packed in Styrofoam. When opened, bits and pieces of charged pieces flew everywhere and were inside the item. Horrible task to get rid of them. I got how-to hints on the internet. A combination of duct tape, windex, & hot water/steam finally worked. Don't get this if you have hard water. Do get it if you have lots of patience. It's pretty.

Good size and shape. Seems to let the wine open up nicely. Pretty easy to use but be careful with the last pour. Seemed a little light and will probably only use this for tastings and with guests. The edges seemed just a bit unfinished and may be likely to chip if not careful.
