Home Beer Brewing Equipment Kit with Traditional Wheat Beer

I originally received a Mr. Beer brewing kit for Christmas. After brewing a few batches, with so-so results, I realized that Mr. Beer did not cure my craving to brew my own beer. My father has a kit similar to this so I decided that an upgrade was necessary.First and foremost, The Home Brewery shipped this immediately. I ordered the kit on a Monday and it arrived on Wednesday. It may have something to do with being only a state away, but nevertheless it was extremely quick shipping. As far as the contents, everything is just as pictured and described.I put the kit to use this past weekend and was not disappointed. The instructions were easy to follow and the experience was much more enjoyable than brewing with Mr. Beer. Instead of feeling like I was "faking it", it felt as though I was putting in the work to brew the beer. While I have not tasted the finished product, I have no concerns that it will not turn out top notch.When it comes to home brewing, there is one thing that is important to keep in mind. There is A LOT of cleaning involved. Your equipment must remain clean and be sanitized during the brewing process. If you want good beer, you better have clean equipment. I will also pose this warning: HOME BREWING IS ADDICTIVE!!! It is a good amount of work but it's also a lot of fun.I will come back to update my review once I have tasted my first batch. Enjoy!

I got this set for my husbands birthday and it was perfect. We have started one batch so far and are going to bottle it tonight...so soon we'll find out how well it tastes. As for the process with all products here was great. The only thing that I think that was really needed was the copper cooling coil, which is not in this kit and can be purchased in bigger more expensive kits or separately. If you live in the north and have snow...you would be able to skip the coil and just put the pan right in a big snow bank outside your house (covered of course) which was a friends suggestion but we are in a warmer location and that was not an option for us. Other then that...seems to be a perfect beginner kit...and we watched like 30 videos from youtube to see more experienced brewers techniques and kits, which seemed like we had everything they were using too (minus the coil). As for the beer flavoring kit within this...it's great for a beginner too...has everything you need already set up for you...just read.
