Yea, it does contain tea tree oil. It helps control the shine if used correctly, especially if you use it as part of the complete system that we offer. It works by balancing PH. I would not exactly call it Woodsy...in fact, it's pretty awful, I think it smells rather medicinal, but it doesn't linger, and once you rinse and dry it off, it really leaves no scent at all, and it feels fantastic. I was put off at first, but I swear by it now.

Thanks for the question. I would recommend using the head and face wash/shave soap every time you shave or want to wash your head/face. The exfoliating scrub can be used daily before shaving to exfoliate but doesn't need to be used every day. A few times a week would be good. The Shine Away product should be used daily, multiple times if desired, because this is the product that really helps balance your PH levels and gets rid of that greasy look. The moisturizing balm should also be used every day. A little goes a long way. Make sure it's rubbed in thoroughly. The detox mask can be used as often as desired but once a week is recommended. The good and the bad

The good: The balm has a great fragrance and a soothing quality to my normally rough after shave skin. I winter in Arizona so dry skin is a real issue for me. The product feels refreshing and my skin is smooth without feeling greasy.The bad: The jar came with the cap/cover cracked around the rim so the lid cannot be tightened. Needs better packaging for shipping.Bottom line: Great product, poor shipping/delivery

Ineffective for my sensitive scalp.

I bought this product to help eliminate razor bumps/ burn from heads having. My scalp always seemed to have small nicks and cuts from shaving and I had hoped this might heal them and prevent future nicks / cuts.After using this product for about 3 weeks, I still have the same issues. If did not do anything for me and my lumpy head.The scent is a bit off putting to me as well. Reminds me of pine sol.Not something I would buy again. Just my two cents.
