Good nozzle, OK coverage
See photo of the painted area next to original paint on my 2002 snowblower.I bought this to re-paint a cub cadet snowblower from the early 2000's. After wire-wheel brushing, sandblasting, rust-treating, and priming, this was my final step. The first thing I noticed is that the nozzle on this can is high quality. I wish it produced a fan-shaped pattern instead of a round one, but when I held the can about 9 inches away the pattern was 5-6 inches wide. This made it easy to overlap properly and avoid runs. I sprayed a light coat over the entire disassembled snowblower, but that used up the whole can. I'm now ordering two more cans to make sure that I have enough to put a second good coat on the blower. I may need a third coat because this paint does not seem very opaque, everything shows through more than I thought it would. Some final thoughts:-Use a gray primer, not a black one because this paint doesn't cover well (those complaining about color match issues may just be seeing the primer showing through)-Buy an extra can, because it doesn't go as far as you think it will.-Cub Cadet changed their shade of yellow over the years, but this is a good match from about 2000 to present.-This paint says it needs to be applied above 65 degrees, which may be an obstacle for some people with cold sheds.-Prep and prime, or it won't lastUPDATE: It took 3 full cans to properly paint a snowblower (one coat per can). Now that it's done it looks brand new, but I wish it hadn't required so many coats to keep the primer from showing through. I was also surprised at how quickly the cans ran out. In spite of these shortcomings, I think this paint is the best option for those wanting to paint their cub cadet equipment.

Tractor Supply REALLY srewed up when they stoped selling this product and replaced it with something of lower quality
I use the spray can to touch up only, I use the regular paint/hardener mostly. I run a pedicabs business in Houston (Ready2RollPedicabs) and have used Valspar paint for a few years now. I use to use other products such as professional car paints to Rust-o-ileum. I like this paint because is resistant to chemicals backing it down, like hydraulic fluid/ break fluid offend does to paint making it peel off.... It dries quick to the touch, the spray paint dries in minutes, the regular paint/hardener about 4-8 hours and fully hardens 12-48 hours, unlike Rust-o-ileum. Rust-o-ileum can take a month to fully cure and the paint remains gummy, variable to scrapes. The paint looks really good and can be used on fiberglass, which my pedicabs carriage is made of. It is very durable and doesn't crack on flimsily surfaces such as fiberglass. I hope Valspar never stops making this product, it is really remarkable product and is price makes it the best bang for your dollar. It is very hard to find this product, I have only found it on Amazon.

Perfect paint for my project!
I purchased a self propelled cub cadet mower with a lot of scratches and couple rust spots on it. I was planning on just touching up, but then seeing how well the paint sprayed, with thicker consistency, I decided to do the whole mower. I put 4 thin coats on it and still have quite a bit left in ONE can. I use to be a professional painter, and familiar with paints/applications. This paint is not too thin like many cheaper paints, which makes application so nice and easy. You can't find a better deal. I don't know how the actual cub cadet paint is, but sure it can't be better than this stuff. Thumbs up from this customer!!!!!! I got a great deal on this cub cadet mower because of the excessive scratches on it, and so happy I now have a new looking mower for 1/4 of what a new one costs. Thank You Valspar!

Terrible color match fo Kibota
I bought the Kubota orange OEM color match. It is not even close. Also, the cap simply would not come off of the can, I fanally smashed it with a hammer.

Good paint for yellow paint maintenance. Color should have matched better since it has "Cub Cad Yellow" in description.
My Cub Cadet Zero Turn needed some rust removal and prevention. After cleaning and spraying with Krylon (great paint) rust inhibitor,I sprayed this Valspar paint. When paint was wet, I was shocked that it appeared to be very light yellow. After it dried, the new paint blended somewhat indoors. This paint is much lighter than original paint in sunlight. Color isn't matched well. Paint is probably okay protection as long as color difference doesn't make any difference to equipment owner. I found Cub Cadet yellow paint (Part # 759-3258) at Agri Supply for $4.99, but shipping brought it up to about $18.00. So, I'm placing an order for CC Part # 759-3258 as color difference is significant enough to aggravate me.

Good paint, color is off
It's a quality paint, but the color doesn't match my new 2012 Cub. The paint is a shade lighter with a little less orange in it than the factory Cub paint. However, since I'm just going to be using it to touch up the deck on a yearly basis, it should work out alright, much cheaper than the OEM Cub paint.

Closest match to Weber BBQ Gray that I could find
I rebuilt three Weber Summit 600 series grills, and after a lot of searching, I found this to be the best match to the gray that Weber uses. It's not a perfect match, but since I sanded, primed and painted the the entire side and back panels, you can't tell. I had to replace the bottom panel due to rust, so it's the original Weber gray. It matches up well to the Valspar MF Gray Tractor paint.
