Ordered this because my husband was very concerned about heat damage to the upper cabinets over our new Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro. So glad I did. I love this thing!PRO'S:-- Fits oven top well. The silicone feet seat it in the grooves on the top of the oven to prevent sliding.-- Protects overhead cabinets from heat damage.-- Silicone feet give an air gap between the oven and board so board doesn't burn.-- Allows storage of unused racks on top of oven without scratching the oven's upper surface.-- Provides convenient parking spot for foods directly out of the oven.-- As cutting boards go, this is pretty reasonably priced and is $5.00 cheaper than other vendors, i.e., Sur la Table and Williams & Sonoma.CON'S:-- It's bare wood and needs seasoned (which I recognize for official cooks, looking to use it as a cutting board, is a good thing). I'm only looking for a protective barrier for my oven, so something with a little coating would have been nice. (I know. I'm totally lame!)-- Wish it had been just a half inch deeper in the back to go all the way to the back edge of the oven. Understandably, it needs a small set back in the front to protect it from heat damage when the oven is opened.

I’m a little lazy in the kitchen. If I need to dig through cabinets to find a cutting board than I’m more inclined to simply chop whatever on the counter, in the sink, or on a corningware plate. I can hear your <gasp!> from here! Now that I got this gorgeous, easy to store-use-clean cutting board I use it ALL THE TIME!!!!! <sigh of relief> I know, right?! Get it - it sits right on top of the convection toaster oven.

I saw a few negative reviews for the Umlife product that made me worry about splinters. But I didn't want to buy the Breville brand because: 1) It has "don't sue us" warning text printed on the edges, 2) I didn't find one that was specifically for the 900 series Breville oven, 3) Several people showed that it could split in half easily, and 4) There were just as many reviews warning of splinters from the Breville version as the Umlife.So I bought this one and I'm relieved to say the quality impresses me. It fits the "Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, Brushed Stainless Steel, BOV900BSS" perfectly (see photos), It uses three-layer criss-cross construction to keep it from splitting in two, all the bamboo pieces are fairly thick, and, while the edges are not heavily sanded, there is no hint of potential splinters.Considering that this item will be constantly dried out by the warmth of the oven, I'm going to apply a lot of mineral oil, and probably re-apply fairly often. (Any cutting board used in this application is going to need more frequent oiling.) If the product quality is consistent and you get one like mine, you'll be happy.

I bought this cutting board not because I have a Breville toaster oven, but because I have a regular gas range with 5 burners that uses a griddle in the middle. I wanted a stove top cutting board that would only go over two of my burners without having to move my griddle. The other boards I looked at had a lip meant to fit around the grates which would have been too short to fit around. This one sits on top of my burner grates, while my griddle still fits on the middle burner. The board covers just about the entire half of my stove and I can use it to store things or chop ingredients while cooking and transfer the ingredients right into the pot right after chopping.

So far it has been an excellent purchase! I bought it for our Breville toaster oven and it’s been protecting the heat from reaching our cabinets. I can even touch the cutting board while the oven is on and it doesn’t get hot. I had the oven at 350 degrees for over an hour.

It fits so well in top of my Breville smart oven. Super easy to use, it is built of quality wood. It is nice looking even though over time the wood darkens.

This is a perfect addition to my Breville pro oven. It sits on top so that I can place other items and not worry about it getting hot. It is also great for a cutting board as it has little grips on the bottom four corners.
