My daughter gave me this for Fathers day many years ago, and I really love it. It works much better than any regular shaving cream I have used. There is noticeably less friction on my skin, so the razor slides more smoothly. It also rinses better from the blades, and I have less hair stuble that gets stuck between the blades. Two drops make more than enough lather for a shave, so this bottle will last me for 1 1/2 to 2 years.[update] I ordered this in April, 2022. Its now June, 2024 and this bottle is still more than half full.

This is the best shaving product I've ever found. I have three of the best Simpson brushes and I don't use them anymore because of Aesop. It seems expensive, but two squirts is all you need so the bottle lasts a long time. It smells great and leaves your skin feeling so good you won't need any sort of after shave balm. It's great stuff.

Amazing for black skin. No bumps

This smells great but that's it. It dries out very quickly and becomes tacky causing the razor to drag across your skin. I've never had shaving bumps but this was dreadful. I used Art of Shaving pre-shave oil which is nice and thick, but the best so far is Jack Black's MP 10 Oil. It is super-fine, moisturizing and nourishing — the best part of Jack Black's MP 10 Oil is no bumps and a super close shave.

I heard about this on a Blog for Women's face shaving. It's expensive but it does last a good while. It doesn't matter much but it helps get a close shave...

Nice shave gel doesn’t break me out or give me bumps. Smells like tea tree and another essential not badly strong except at first.

Smoothest shave I've ever had. Well worth the money and a little really does go a long way.

This is a great lubricant for shaving. A little pricey but outstanding product!
