Edit: After putting the phone in the case today, I am adding 1 star for good looks and feel. Buttons are hard, but I expect them to wear in. I have another, less attractive, more protective looking, case coming. Hopefully a premium case in the future?Original Review follows...The case is very thin. it is 2 pieces, though it seems the black "rubber" part is not supposed to be removed. The skimpy amount of black material does not completly cover the phone back, though it does provide a good front edge cover. You cannot see the inside of the case in the Ad photo, but what you do see is about all the black material available. This is the reason for 2 stars, not enough "rubber" material to encase the whole device. I have added a photo of the inside of the case showing the lack of rubber.The plastic shell is fairly thin and flexible. The kickstand is not very robust, but should be ok if handled carefully.I will be shopping for something more premium and Robust.

+ The design is actually pretty cool, a rare thing to be said about a phone case.+ The case itself is about the same thickness as my Lumia 920, so it doesn't feel particularly bulky.+ The case molds to the phone quite well, with the camera ring being only slightly inset from the back surface of the phone.- The rubber bumpers/feet/trim aren't grippy at all, so it will slide around and won't stay still e.g. on a car dash.- The kickstand is pretty wimpy and cheap-feeling.- To 'close' the kickstand, you have to snap the top edge in first. Otherwise it won't fully close.

The case itself has a very nice looking exterior, but unfortunately feels very cheap. Like other reviewers have stated, the case feels quite cheap in the hand and the clip is very flimsy - which will cause it to snap off very easily if care is not taken. In addition, it doesn't seem like there is enough material for it to actually make me feel like my phone is safe from a drop.On the other hand, the case is a perfect fit for the 950xl. Also, it leaves enough room so that if your 950xl were to be placed on its face, it will not touch, even if a tempered glass is placed on it, there is room to spare. Unfortunately, I cannot really recommend this case unless you wanted to protect your phone from scratches on the back and not much else. It does look nice though.

A fantastic case for the Lumia 950XL. Since we are a consumer electronic editorial, we don't usually touch on device accessories. However, the design of this case is so visually appealing, it was difficult not to mention something. For such a thin profile, it still offers plenty of protection for the phone itself while not becoming invasive to touch or storage in tight places such as your pockets. The kickstand doesn't feel as though it would last forever, but we have yet to experience any issues of it wearing yet. It has been collecting an uncountable number of positive comments by others nearby who noticed its brilliant design. We call it the Tony Stark phone now because of it.

First of all I don't know what people are talking about this case is great for what it is...the only gripe I have about it is the buttons on the side are black and hard to feel for each one without looking.(they are not hard to push and always work) at least my case. However there has been one time that I had it in my pocket at work and was moving all around when I took my phone out one of the corners was out of the case, But I also think that was my fault for not really snapping it into the case. But I pushed it back in a heard a pretty good snap( not a bad snap just a loud one) hasn't happed since. ALSO side note the color in the picture is a little off imo in the pic it looks a little too purple and blue... the real color is that same blue with a little grey/silver over all its great and I have only had it for 2 weeks or so. already had some complements on my "halo case" haha

Makes the phone a little bulky. This is of course expected if you have a 5.5" phone plus this case. The stand kick is soft, liquidish i would say if you accidentally pull it harder it would come apart or break, that is why 4 stars. Buttons react normal. Used it for long time, now gave it to my brother among with phone, will see how long he will use.

I got the one in red and I am loving it. It adds such a sturdier feeling to the already sturdy 950 XL and it doesn't add much bulk to it at all. In fact, I think it adds the minimum amount of bulk needed.The case is very strong, everytime I try to take the phone out, the phone actually separates from the back and I have to dig the backing out of the case. That at least tells me that the case has a strong grip.Oh and the color for the red is amazing. It's actually not as orangish as the pictures here and is more of a deeper red.

Ultimately it's a great case it looks awesome and I enjoyed the kickstand not many cases have them. The downside though not enough grip. I dropped my phone far more than I care to admit and while It did protect the phone everytime. The case wore down and pieces would break off until finally it would never go back on. Then I dropped my phone without the case and it died. To bad there are no more Lumias I miss windows phone 😔
