Skar Audio ZVX-8 D4 8" 900 Watt Dual 4 Ohm SPL Car Subwoofer

To be 8s I am blown away I have 2 in a 2023 f250 and everyone is surprised that listen to them is as well I have a 3500 power acoustic amp pushing them turned all the way up

These things bang specially to be in a 2 small prefab box for a temporary build! Been considered doing a run off of 4 of these just for fun with how well they perform!

Buuuut not 12s

More than what you need if you want a system that plays on volume 25/40 on your stereo with the occasional 35/40 volume turn up. Every one always thinks it’s a 12” or 2 10” subs till I show em it’s an 8!!! Sounds great down to 50hz any lower and it floods. Anything over 50-55hz to 120hz sounds impressive/clean/and powerful inside the cab/trunk. I also have 2 skar 15” subs. Love this brand, don’t let the negative reviews discourage you. Take the time to properly learn how to set your amp and sub up. Will not blow your windows out but will sure as hell rock your car with a good audiophile quality sound. This is a quality speaker and every speaker has its limits. Love your speakers and they’ll keep ya happy!

Bought subs and after a couple of months they tore. I contacted skar about the warranty and they wouldn't replace them. So I def want purchase them again.

Wow! Ive had a JL audio 8w7 in their HO box and this ZVX beats it. Thats a statement. Google ZVX box and you’ll find a design titled “God in da trunk” its 2.3 cubic feet vented tuned 35 hertz. Name checks out! This 8 is being powered by skar audio rp-1500. It 2 ohms it getting 900rms. I dont think it can handle the full 900 it’s probably at 600 plus and this thing moves and gets real low. Definitely a bargain high quality sub. Dont sleep on Skar audio.

I bought this to replace the 2 12in kicker comp R set I had in my trunk and put it in a custom box... didn’t really know what to expect at first but this one 8” subwoofer kicks the every living crap out of those kicker subs. They make them seem almost pathetic. This subwoofer has tight, hard hitting bass, takes care of the lows and mids extremely well. If you’re thinking about buying it stop thinking! This is the subwoofer you want if you’re looking to save space and looking for a HUGE quality improvement. I’m blown away!

This little thing pounds!! I had a sealed box, but it didn't sound right, I have it now in 1.25 cu ft ported at 38Hz with a Skar RP-1500.1 going to it, and WOW WOW WOW!!! I listen to all types of music from 80's hair bands to rap to classical to country and this sub respons great to bass from a kick drum, bass guitar, chello, all sounds great on this mighty litlle guy. Thought I was going to add 2 more but one in the right box is PLENTY!
