Students were so excited for a replacement
I have this series in my 4th Grade class library, and my reluctant readers love these books. This particular book, #6, had somehow disappeared from the library. After a thorough search, I asked admin to order a new hardcover version to replace the lost one. My students were getting so anxious that the year would end before they got to read it, so I ordered this paperback version. The first one on the list got to read it today, and she is already more than halfway through the book. Everyone else wants to know what happens, but they don't want her to spoil the ending!! It is so enjoyable to see them have a passion for reading. I love this series for my students.

Great series for boys and girls
Have bought and pre-ordered all the books in this series for my 8 year old grandson. We love reading these books and finish them the very day we get them. He is in 2nd grade and able to read most of the book without any help, except with some of the names. He loves, loves, loves this series. Hope this series continues. I recommend it to children at the library as well. Strong female character in the book which is a bonus. And plenty of pictures that depict what the story is telling. So glad we found this series! The first copy we received was ripped on several pages, as well as the cover, but Amazon got a new copy to us right away and we returned the damaged one. No problem there.

GREAT STORIES ABOUT A MAGIC LAND
I'm reading the Wrenly books to my grandson who is 6 years old. He loves them all! However, we get through a book in 2-3 days easily; they are each quite short, even when read aloud. I would suggest buying a volume of several books at once rather than buy each independently.

Binge Reading
My 9 year old is totally binging this series. I had to tell her only one book a week because she adores them and can finish one in a day now.

The first chapter book our reluctant reader was happy to tackle
My 9 year-old stepdaughter is a reluctant reader; she has struggled with learning to read since beginning primary school, and although we've all done our best to help her, the struggle has really knocked her confidence. She was keen to read chapter books like her friends do, but felt many of them aimed at her age group were too difficult. Then, my relatives gave her the first book in this series for Christmas. What a gift. The language and the layout (which consists of short chapters, a larger typeface, and pictures on almost every page) are perfect for her level, but the story is interesting and adventurous enough to hold her interest. There is a prince, a female best friend, a struggle between one character and another, and a quest - everything a decent story needs. With some encouragement, our reluctant reader started reading these books by herself and finished them without any help from us. She was so excited, and so proud of herself when she realized what she'd done. And that has boosted her confidence with reading to the point that she's begun to try reading other chapter books - ones she'd previously insisted were "too hard". It's a really brilliant series, and I really recommend it; especially if you've got a struggling and discouraged reader like I had.

) It was tough to find a series that would challenge him yet be easy enough that he wouldn't give up easily yet still ...
My son has multiple learning disabilities and I have delayed some reading on purpose due to my educational studies, so at nine, he wanted a "chapter book" series that was his own ( his siblings before had "Land of Stories", "Geronimo and Thea Stilton", "Harry Potter" ect.) It was tough to find a series that would challenge him yet be easy enough that he wouldn't give up easily yet still be engaged. I picked up a Wrenly set at costco, and he read his first chapter book by himself in less than a few weeks! He went from reading almost nothing to these...guess my approach worked. But these books have a special place in my heart for what his level of reading was and now he looks forward to reading more... The Kingdom of Wrenly are a great first chapter book.

Fun little adventure!
My girls just love this series and couldn't wait to read this one! We are just sad to have to wait for the next ones! All the pictures really do make this a perfect fit for young ones as an introductory chapter book, and helps to hold their attention. That being said, my older ones (ages 9 & 11) always end up making their way over to listen as well π
