The definition of a bitter is something that tastes bitter in flavor: dandelion, gentian, coffee, dark chocolate and greens are classic bitters. The flavor of bitter is very much associated with the digestive system. As human beings we evolved eating tons and tons of bitters-bitter greens,

My stomachs best friend.
I’ve been taking these drops for about a year now and they work wonders for me. I try to remember to take them every day, but I use them religiously when I’m having a stomach flare up. They help with nausea, indigestion, and heart burn. They’re all natural and work so much better than anything else I’ve ever tried. These are a lifesaver for me.

not as good as the "original" flavor
Bought these to try and address some long-standing stomach issues. I don't think they do anything for me sadly, and I don't like the really strong chamomile taste. I wish it was more gingery. The original flavor is stronger (more bitter) and I think is better at getting the juices flowing, so to speak. These do seem to help marginally for heartburn. I'm upset I spent so much $$ on these, I should have tried the small bottle like I did for the original flavor. Oh well. I won't buy this again.

Acid Reflux? This Works
I think I'll be able to give up my Tums! I keep this handy in the kitchen, and it seems to soothe my acid reflux. I take about 1/2 spoonful per episode, and it works quickly. It is a bitter taste, not a fun candy like Tums, but I appreciate the fact that it is all natural, and that it extinguishes the pain quickly.

Got GERD or IBS? Give this a try!
The taste is neutral/to pleasant. The herbs seem very effective in calming my stomach even when I enjoy things that I know cause my GERD and IBS to flare up! Give them a try, they might help you like they have me! Thanks and God Bless!

Did not work for me
Unfortunately it did not work for me. Cane alcohol content 30 to 40% gave me more yeast troubles and gas and bloating. I had to return and tried the Sweden bitters by Opas Soap. It worked a miracle. I only took it for two days and it already helped me alot with the GERD issues and also with the skin problems.
