don't loose a finger
Everything works well except using the cutting blade. We some times use the cutting blade, but the holes plug up with fat and sinew which means you have to open the cutting end and clean then start over .

Makes delicious sausages with ease.
Looked high and low for a reasonably priced sausage stuffer and decided to try this one. Price was right up my ally and when I received it, I was astonished at the quality and the simplicity. It’s easy to operate and breaks down for cleaning. I make small batches of sausage, so this perfectly meets my needs. Everyone loves the homemade sausages and they will be receiving more now that I have this easy to operate sausage stuffer. I highly recommend this.

Made of cheap metal that gives off a grey metal residue! Thrown out after one use!
This thing looks like one of the old cast iron meat grinders, but this thing is made of some cheap, light metal. Maybe aluminum but possibly something even cheaper. And it's surface comes off as an nasty grey film that sticks to your fingers after cleaning. Can't even imagining using this a second time and possibly ingest whatever this grey metal film is! And amazingly, hours after being washed the FIRST time, there are large patches of RUST on certain parts. And not just a little bit but patches of rust on certain parts! Amazing! This thing is made from absolutely unsuitable metal! Unthinkable to use this even a second time!

Extensive modification required
I wanted a simple grinder for making super-lean hamburger beef patties. Everything else I looked at was too bulky, too pricey, too this, too that. The sausage maker seemed perfect for my needs: simple and easy to use, not too much disassembly to clean.BUT ... it was poorly made; so bad I spent over two man-hours to make it work. There were severe binds, even when dry-cranking, and a bur that was scoring a seal during operation. Everything had to be custom-fitted to work properly which required sanding, grinding, filing, and power tools. I'm pretty good with things like this but it was still challenging. Once complete, it works like a charm and I really like it.NOT RECOMMENDED for anyone who expects to "plug 'n play". Maybe not all are as bad as mine, but the risk of having to modify it (and thereby void the warranty and return terms) is still very likely.Mounting is another issue. It won't attach to a countertop that has a curved lip; the surface MUST be flat and sturdy. And no matter how tightly it's attached, a gripper material is still needed to prevent it from "walking" as you're grinding. You'll get a workout !If grinding beef, you'll have to meticulously trim away ALL fat because the blade holes easily clog. But knowing all this now, I would STILL have purchased it because the end result -- 99% lean beef -- was worth it.

Perfect for making boudin!
The only reason I’m giving this a four is because I washed it once and it already started rusting. So I recommend you washing and drying ASAP. But for the price. 100% worth it

Haven't know yet.
Haven used. needs clarify something with the seller. I thought I ordered a Stainless Steel Meat Grinder, but the box said, Aluminum Alloy. Overall looks good as in the picture. I have another grinder but is an adapter to another appliance. I need something easier, and handy, to grind fresh, and I think this is ideal.

No frills
Pretty basic and not super heavy duty. But for stuffing already ground meat for Polish sausage it worked great.

Cheap and poorly built.
The grinder is poorly cut as the insides are jagged and potentially harmful to the sausages you make with it.Buy a real meat grinder, the quality of the product is worth the extra dollars than this junker.
