For this price, can't beat it!
It's a challenge to find anything you'd remotely call "furniture" that isn't being used for a dorm room in the "under $100" price range. I looked at IKEA, Home Depot, Target, etc. Yes, this is made of particle board, but it's designed well, fit is good, and it should last for quite a while with low to medium usage. And it's not obvious it's particle board unless you manipulate it - otherwise it looks fine (good even). It would be nice if the drawers had better slides and/or came out farther, but for this price? Let's get realistic! And, it should be noted, it could have been made of WORSE materials and/or not been as well manufactured (parts lined up, etc.). The engineering/design that went into it was quite competent as I've assembled different items that were a struggle to put together. This one went right together with no issues. It came relatively well packed and the instructions were clear. Setup time was probably under an hour, but that's because the drawers do take some time. The final result was a very usable night stand.I would not give this 5 stars if "money were no object", but for the application I had in mind, spending $500 or $600 was pretty silly. For this amount of money, it's a challenge to see why people would find it anything less than a good choice.

The three drawers are of ample size and work smoothly on good quality metal glide hardware
I bought two of these as they are perfectly sized for use on either side of our queen bed in our park model mobile home bedroom. The three drawers are of ample size and work smoothly on good quality metal glide hardware. Black finish is as pictured and not glossy. Both were well packaged to protect from reasonable shipping abuse and were received in excellent condition. There are a number of parts but each part and hardware package is labeled and clearly correlates to the instruction sheet. Instructions were very easy to understand and I assembled both in about an hour and a half using only a phillips screwdriver, although you'll need a vac to clean up all the foam particles resulting from shipping materials. These tables are constructed of particle board covered with a melamine-like material and are quite heavy for their size... a plus in my book. They are very sturdy and should provide us with much needed storage and years of service. I am very happy with this purchase and can heartily recommend these tables.

A decent nightstand but improvements are necessary
This nightstand is of fairly decent quality and aesthetics for its price point. Assembly was not the most straightforward thing as it took some figuring out along the way. My main gripe about it was the poor drawer-sliding performance. The drawers did not slide smoothly by any means. They also would get caught and only pull halfway out. I figured out this was due to the screws on the drawer slide hardware being angeled causing them to rub up against the slides and hinder its ability to do so. I ended up purchasing and installing different drawer slides. The ones I purchased were the Everbilt 12 in. Self-Closing Bottom Mount Drawer Slide from Home Depot. It was $16 total. I was able to reuse most of the pre-drilled screw holes, but I had to drill a few new holes due to the original holes being too angeled, or the new drawer slide having different hole locations. After installing these new slides, the drawers worked perfectly. Furthermore, do not over-tighten the cam locks. It will damage the wood. A 90-degree turn is sufficient. A few of the cam locks broke which required me to contact their support and get replacements. That process was simple and the replacements arrived quickly. I also asked for the measurements of the cam locks so that I could purchase high-quality ones on my own. The large cam locks (part O) are 12x15mm and the small cam locks (part P) are 10x12mm.

This was $144 wasted
The media could not be loaded. Skip this nightstand.PROSEasy to assembleMDF boards are thick and the coating seems reasonably waterproofMany pieces come pre-assembled (such as the drawer runners)CONSfor the price this has got to be the worst value I've ever gotten for more than $40 let alone almost $80A few of the screw holes holding the drawer runners in place had split the board slightly and had been improperly drilled to the point that I had to use construction adhesive to bond the runners. There is no support in the back of the nightstand, aside from a thin piece of stiff cardboard to cover the backs of the drawers, leaving the unit very wobbly.I can't stress this enough, you can find a better nightstand for cheaper at just about any major retailer or furniture store. Maybe the two I purchased were defective but if that were the case I would still avoid a company that could let 2 defective units slip through quality control.I should have returned these as soon as I noticed the cracks (small as they were) and the poorly drilled holes. Since I've already used construction adhesive I'm just going to have to live with this purchase for the next 3-6 months until the wobble finally causes them to collapse.OR I'm going to have to invest another $20+ dollars into these already overpriced pieces to shore them up to a useable standard. If you've made it this far, please, I'm begging you, save yourself the frustration of this and buy from someplace you can see the finished product or someplace with a reputation you trust
