excellent for garden use
very well made but only good for medium duty snipping like raspberry canes. Plastic handles kinda of flex with things like thicker tree branches.very lightweight in your pocket of belt.

This is a very nice pruner, I compare this fiber composite handle tool ...
A open question to Felco Corp. How does your company define 'fiber composite'? The use of the word fiber would indicate that the material would not take on brittle fracture.Secondly why would anything as simple as a garden pruner 'Swiss Made' not have the blade close together, that is with a i/4 inch gap?

You can't beat Felicia!
I'm a professional gardener, but I loose had tools constantly, so I resisted getting felcos until my hands started cramping after a day of pruning. Once I tried them I was hooked. I'm not going to review felco pruners in general other than to say they are far and away the best in every way. If you're a serious pruner nothing else comes close, but they ain't cheap. The felco composite pruners are considerably more affordable, so I guess they're less expensive to make, but they perform every bit as well as the original style and are actually lighter in your hand, which is a big plus for me.I use hand pruners for a lot of things most people trim with hedge trimmers for a whole verity of reasons, so comfort and great cutting is essentia for me. I got these for the price. Now they're my gotos. I love these pruners!
