I have MANY Cuisinart pots & pans, without coating. I find them as easy to clean as coated cookware. Without any worry about ingesting the coating. And they never need replacing. Here are some tips to reduce or deal with scorching: 1) preheat on a low flame; 2) treat scorch marks by boiling water in the stained pot, with a Tb or 2 of baking soda. 3) Buy Bar Keeper's Friend, and use it when necessary.

Q: What's the inside bottom diameter of the 9" pan?

I did purchase 14 inch pan, not 9 inch. I don't know what is the diameter of the 9 inch pan.

I don’t know the answer, what I do know is that it has an aluminum encapsulated base that makes it highly conductive & efficient for quick, even heat distribution witch works great on my glass cooktop.
