Very good grip with the valve stem and did not get any leak. Just try not to drop them in the sand. Fine sand tend to go inside the chuck

The Best
These are the best lock on Chuck's I've found. Last seemingly forever and always seal and hold excellently. Far better then any lever style I've tried.
