Graco Sterling Semi-Upholstered Glider and Nursing Ottoman, Cherry/Beige Cleanable Upholstered Comfort Rocking Nursery Chair with Ottoman

Finding a decent glider for a reasonable price seems to be quite a challenge. W had previously purchased a white and tan Stork Craft Tuscan glider for my son's room. We were very happy with the functionality of that glider, even if the upholstery was rather cheap.Sadly, that design was out of production when we returned to look for a glider for our daughter's room. We wanted the high rectangular back over the rounded back design as the rounded designs were too short to allow the parent to rest their head while rocking. Upon seeing this Graco glider (also made by Stork Craft) we decided to give it a shot. Its upholstery is nicer than our other glider. It was easy to put together (so my husband says). It glides very smoothly without creaks or stalls. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

I do not recommend purchasing this product. After only 4 months, two springs in the center of the base of the seat have broken. We have tried numerous times to reinsert the ends of the springs into the wooden base, but they always come out. It appears the wood is not strong enough or the spring ends are not long enough to stay in the wood. Definitely a design flaw!!!

*UPDATED REVIEW WITH LESS THAN 6MO OF USE- the chair has rapidly deteriorated. Under the bottom cushion, the backing seperating the cushion and springs has ripped and sagged, causing the cushion to sag and become misshaped. I had to purchase both a back and buttom chair cushion to make the chair bareable*note* I only heavily used this chair for roughly 1 month. (I'm still only about 150lb) Otherwise it's just used for middle of the night feedings.*ORIGINAL REVIEW- Purchased this chair for a nursery. It was initially beautiful and fit great. The padding seemed a little thin, but nice looking material.Fast forward 3 weeks, there is already a "butt print" in the chair.. I'm 150lbs. The padding on the arms, back and seat have worn down so much I have to use pillows on the arms and bought a patio cushion for the bottom/ back. The stool does have heel marks in it as well.Pro- incredibly easy to spot clean when breast milk is spilt.

This glider is perfect! The one I wanted was $700 so this was definitely a comparable choice for the price. The assembly was slightly difficult but it's very sturdy. The only thing I wish was different was the back cushion. I wish it had better lumbar support, but I bought a pillow and now it's perfect. I would definitely recommend this glider to a new mom.

I’m not very happy with this purchase. The box had a hole in it and completely scratched the wood, I assume in the process of delivering it. I didn’t return it because I put it together 3 days before I delivered and figured I could just cover it with a blanket. I’ve been using it for 2 months now and the cushions on the seat, footstool, and arms are starting to crease. It also start squeaking a few days ago and not sure how to fix it. Overall this chair was not worth the price I paid for it and looks very cheap!*UPDATE*I’ve had this chair for over a year. It still squeaks and it’s very hard to get stains out! Even baby drool is a challenge. They honestly need to come out with better material! I plan to keep this chair for a few more years and have to look at how to reupholster.

I have not yet had baby, but i put this together alone it was SUPER easy. Its sturdy and very comfortable. I am 5'9 and 8mos pregnant (230lbs ish) and its very comfortable.

Initial review, I plan to update once I've used it more. As far as the assembly: it was super easy, just 6 bolts to put it together. The ottoman didn't require any assembly. I've been sitting in it for about an hour and it's really comfortable. Very sturdy! The cream color is very light, I wasn't sure what to expect from other pictures, see photos included.

Graco went above and beyond to replace a broken Glider. It was a gift for my daughter and she was impressed with the communication and support for replacement.
