WOW! My lips have been dry all winter, with one spot that will not heal no matter what I've tried. I've started wearing lipstick again and needed to fix that because that spot didn't take the product well. I saw lanolin on reddit and decided to try it. Holy smokes! I put some on before bed, and when I woke up my lips were fully hydrated (even that bad spot), smooth, and the softest they've been since I was a teenager. It was crazy! Seriously, I've never seen any product make such a big difference, and so quickly!My lips did dry out during the course of the day, but the super-dry spot didn't come back. Now I'm looking for a portable lanolin product. This jar is much to large to carry around, although if I don't find other uses for it, it's going to last forever.

Pure lanolin is the absolute best product for chapped lips. And extra dry hands. A tiny bit goes a very long way. This brand is top quality and always consistent and an excellent value. You can't go wrong!

Great for extremely dry skin, nothing else helped it heal from breaking and cracking. Strong odor, but a little bit goes a long way, so on your hands the smell’s not too strong. Not suitable for daytime use because of the odor.

I love this it has a little bit of a smell I use it in my chapstick lotion and salves and can't smell it with other ingredients and or essential oils I also you it alone on my psoriasis when it is itches and burns it helps fast will buy again it is very sticky I will be getting glass spoons for mine

First things first, I’m not sensitive to scents. However, this does smell like a barn.With that said though, this works and works incredibly well.Any dry, cracked skin will be soothed, protected and rectified with this.It has many different uses. Minor burns, scrapes will instant feel better. I apply a thin coat to the dry delicate skin under my eyes. It not only moisturizes better than any expensive cream.I live in New England where the cold, brutal winters cause the skin on my hands to crack and bleed. This literally stops that.I use it on the pads of my dog’s paws to protect from the ice melt on the sidewalks.One of my best friends is a mom who is nursing her infant. This has helped her better than anything.

Do you know what sheep smell like? If you buy this you will. The smell does not linger. It's a very heavy ointment, which absorbs well and protects skin. I use this on my very rough heels and overwashed hands. Sometimes I use this during the day if I need but mostly I put on at bedtime with socks. I have tried everything, even prescribed stuff for my cracked painful skin. I have used this for about a week and notice huge improvement.

I wanted a natural alternative to aquaphor and this worked so much better and faster. I had really bad chapped lips and tried jojoba and castor oil for 2 days and it didn’t help at all. Tried this and only after a couple hours, my lips were so smooth and the dead skin was coming off! Amazing. I can’t wait to continue to use this especially for my face. It’s very smelly but hopefully I get used to it!
