Q: These are only listed as width "b" which i believe is narrow for men. if anyone purchased them in "b" - do they actually fit narrow?

The width on these shoes are actually Medium and not narrow, however they have adjustable straps, which help to size it differently.

Q: Do most people wear these without socks? I'm looking for the coolest option this summer (in FL).

I wear sock with mine all the time, No Issues, Except I don't LOOK COOL, screw them folks.

Q: If you wear half sizes would it be better to go larger or smaller on the size?

I wear a 10.5 and have a narrow (and flat) foot. The 10 fits perfectly. Just adjust the rear heel strap so your foot is centered on the footbed. The default position of the heel strap will put your toes off the front. But centered, it works great. I can't imagine using an 11, my foot would be swimming around all over in that.
