What is the difference between these "metal" ones and the ones advertised as plastic? Aren't they all half metal, half plastic?

The ones advertised as plastic do have a top half that is metal. For the ones advertised as metal, both parts are metal. I can tell you that these are the original Parker Jotters, and they perform very well.
