Braun Series 8 83M Electric Shaver Head Replacement Cassette, Silver

I bought this replacement head for my S8 shaver, and it fits perfectly. The blades are super sharp and give a close, smooth shave without pulling or irritation. According to the packaging this is a genuine Braun cutter head. It fits easily into the razor. It cuts as well as the original. Previously I purchased a knock off head but was a waste of money. The Braun seems a bit pricey but the quality is worth the price to me.

Don't bother with the cheaper copycat versions. They are all cheap plastic that does not last. Only the Braun version (packaged in a Braun blister pack) will do, even though it will cost $20 or so more than alternatives. Those other options won't last and won't give a clean shave. I know from hard-earned experience, and I prefer a bargain like anyone else! But don't fall for it, and don't purchase from an individual seller. Buy only from Braun (as much as I dislike their markup!!). If it doesn't arrive in a Braun package, don't even open it - just return it.

This is the real series 8 cartridge, head replacement, I bought a 2 pack on Walmart.com for half the price but they were replicas and pulled my hair painfully so I ordered this and the packaging was identical but what a difference, this one is real for sure. Expensive but authentic.

I have previously bought two of these in the past. But they were cheaper, and not from the Braun store, and did not come in official packaging. I had bad experiences with each of them. The first one I returned almost immediately as it did not shave well at all, and it sounded off when I turned my shaver on. The second one was a little better, but not a lot. I kept that one, but after 2-3 months, it got progressively worse, and usually was very uncomfortable to use if I had more than a day's worth of whiskers to shave. But this one, from Braun, and in official packaging, was great from the first time I used it. It snapped in place easier and better than the previous two, and properly. I had about a 3-4 days growth of whiskers I was shaving the first time I used it, and it shaved them perfectly, with absolutely no discomfort. And it did such a great job, I could hardly even tell I was shaving with it. This is the one you need to get for a replacement for your Series 8 Shaver.
