I really liked the music notation above the key numbers. This is a great help in learning to read music.

I love this book it teaches me how to play some of my favorite music on a kalimba and is good along with online kalimba tutorials to teach me the finer points of the kalimba.

Nice book but not for beginners

I like how it included some classics, but plenty of more modern songs from television, movies, and video games. I think the layout of the sheet music is clear and easy to interpret, but be aware if you're one to use the actual letters, the notes are written with the numbers and would require a translation. Does not use tabs, which isn't a negative for me but still good to know

Great songs easy to follow notes....

Glad to have a Kalimba songbook with songs other than Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and this book has several songs I really wanted. But there are some disappointing aspects of this book. First I'll give you the positive...1) It's in simple format so there's not alot of superfluous print. No drawings, pictures or diagrams, except the diagram page at the beginning of the book. 2) There is a variety of songs... some common, some not so much. 3) It has the ability to lay open flat so you can read it as you play.The negative points.. in my opinion...1) The table of contents page numbering is off. 2) There are words to only 2 of the fifty songs 3)The numbering of the keys do not show which side of the Kalimba to play on (see attached photo). For beginners, this makes it difficult.In summary, I won't return the book because it was inexpensive enough that once I am familiar with reading music, I may be able to use this book.

Trying to self teach. Having a really good experience. I prefer by ear though as I use to dabble on my old Aria acoustic guitar copy of Gibson Hummingbird. I am a visual kenetic learner. Monkey see, Monkey do! Thank you, Ginger Hampton,Austin,Tx.

Plenty of good songs even some connected to video games, which motivates my daughter to play instead being on the social media. Just need to remember how to teach how to read music notes 🎶
